f**k me I never noticed that ! well spotted To the OP,, what the f**k are you breeding them for ??? don`t you reckon there is enough unwanted kits without just breeding for the sake of it ffs ! Give the guy a break!!!!!!! He's already said that he couldn't get a vasectomized hob in his area and didn't know how long they had been in season for. In my opinion he did the right thing. What's to say that these litters are unwanted? they may have homes lined up. and not breeding for the sake of it. All the best with your litters and hope everything works out for you. A vac ho

Training A Dogs Ears To Stay Down?
brucemyster replied to Dubba's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
stitch a piece of thread through the top of the ear and then to the top of the dogs eyelid, floppy ears and big bright eyes in one fowl swoop, and then if trained right when it blinked it could send semaphore messages with its ears. -
Hi all I have two jills (at the most they are 2 years old) that have been well handled, I only got them a couple of months ago off of someone who had no more time for them. I had a hob I'd borrowed put over them as they were in season when I got them and I did not know how long they had been in this condition, both are now in their 3rd week of gestation. To my knowledge they have never been apart, my question is, do they need to be put in separated quarters just before their due date (or earlier if necessary) or could they "safely" be left in together? As you can tell I've never breed f

beyond looking good now I'm afraid to many long days mistreated, out in all weathers and bouncing about in the back of the truck, shoots sweet though and with someone who knows what there doing and a few more £'s than me I'm sure it could be made to look the dogs again, never let me down and if your good enough to hit the spot it's a kill every time, a good trajectory like a .177 but enough weight to give the concussion and not drill at closer ranges

I never realise how full a pigeon crop could be till I started shooting pigeons coming into roost with a shotgun, it would easily fill your hand to overflowing with whatever they'd been eating and remember that's all compressed, since then I've always gone for the head/neck when shooting with an air rifle.

Only started my Spaniel at 3 years, was just a house dog/ pet before that, they've all got it in them just got to tease it out!! If I was a better trainer though it would be a better dog, but does what I need it to do although would probably be frowned upon by people who know dogs as being very rough around the edges and not taking enough direction, but he's happy and loves going out with the gun and so am I, isn't that all what it's all about anyway?

it's family, my son grew up knocking pigeons out of the oak tree we had in our back garden with it, could just about cock it and had to use a road spike as a rest as he wasn't strong enough to hold it steady!! Now he's 21 and still loves shooting it even though he's graduated to shotguns.

Genuine Help In Choosing A .22 Rifle For Rabbit Work
brucemyster replied to Lee36's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Try before you buy, a fella on here a couple of days back had his heart set on a particular rifle till he had the opportunity to try a few at the shops range, using your analogy you wouldn't buy a car without giving it a test drive!! Personally I don't think you can beat an HW, had my 77 in .20 for over 20 years and it still knocks em dead at a fair old range. Different pellets will suit different rifles and finding the right one for you and your rifle should give consistent power and accuracy. ATB and don't forget to tell us what you finally ended up with. -
Only a small proportion of what will be in the bag once the cows on one of our new permissions have been moved on to other pastures, my son bagged the rabbits, the squirrel I bagged with an opportunist snap shot whilst trying to get in range of some skittish cotton tails. Once the cows have moved on we've got permission to do some lamping and to try and bag a crafty Charlie, not with the 77 I hasten to add, who's got a bad name for himself in the chicken department. We were not really there to shot but to be shown round and given a heads up to where old Charlie was regularly sited, but we too

Hi all, does anyone recognise this stick makers mark? I'm selling this stick for a friend, she recalls getting from the Surrey area (though it could have been made anywhere) and has the receipt with the makers name, but has mislaid it. It must have been an expensive stick as she has a given me a reserve of £150, I presume the hare is carved from horn, rams maybe? and have absolutely no idea what type of wood it is!! Any information gratefully received so I can advertise it with all the correct information and get her what ever it's true worth, and a few brownie points for me cheers

surrounded by cats, bloke next door put down wood chips and now its where every cat in the neighbourhood goes for a crap, the fella the other side has pigeons so he's plagued by the bloody things and the odd fox as well. For some reason though they don't tend to venture into my garden!!

There Is No Such Thing As A Micro Ferret!
brucemyster replied to Belfasthunter's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
don't know about ferret runts breeding but I think quite a few of the families around here are the product of runts breeding -
Another right result at the boot fairs this week, 4 metres of ghost camo and a camo ground sheet for £12, both in perfect condition with a decent bag to boot, last week a brand spanking new Barbour hat for £3.50. Had 3 sets of Dickies wax chaps, brand new in still in the packets with tags not long back for £4, What's your best boot fair bargain?

If a company or individual has promised to do something at a certain price or within a certain time frame and then fails to do so, as long as what you say about said persons actions are factual, it can not then be deemed as libellous. It's a shame when genuine misunderstandings are blown out of proportion and as stated some posts attract those who have no knowledge of the case in hand and just want to give their ten penneth worth, but for each genuine case there are dozens of scammers and con artists who need to be exposed and that is, although it could often be put more eloquently, the beaut -
Being serious for a second, I used to live in a street where all the houses on one side of the road had cracks similar to what your place is showing, they knocked them all down and rebuilt some nice new ones with piled foundations. Can put pictures up so you can compare if this would help!!
