    Tiercel if I only changed the name of river and dates I could have wrote that myself and not been making it up. After 6 years constant cage trapping and using dogs to kill them we finally got rid to the point all wildlife is on the up and it's rare to see a mink now, but I'll still hunt every last one I see and will not let them ruin my local river again.

    Was it confirmed parvo? I use trigene to wash kennels and that kills it I'm sure, don't know bout boiling mutts stew in it tho lol

    Why do folk say ..... Why steal a ferret they cost a fiver? Most dogs I know are gifted free but that don't mean they are worthless. Stick a 0, fook it stick two 0s after your fiver and you still couldn't buy any good ferret I know of, never mind a fooking fiver lol gutted for you mate

    I just been told about a place in Sunderland I think it's called halls. Try and google it or pm me for number, tho I ain't even contacted them yet myself so unsure of quality or prices but mate who give me details swears by them

    Well in that case it won't seem to much to ask somebody who has EXPERIENCE to write it??? You see from where I'm sat you seem that intent on being famous and having YOUR. Own book that you ain't listening to anybody else. You done exact same when told of the feeding hunting habits of wild mink in OUR islands.... You crack on anyways, folk like you will always think they know best.... Will you be putting in your book that you had to ask on a forum how big ferrets were?lol

    Minkenry I think your biggest problem is your attitude. You argued about minks diets and what wild life they damage over here. Yet you have never been here.... Instead of listening to folks you tried to make them out liars I defense of your mink. I hope your book does well tho unless it's gonna tell me how to catch more mink better than the other books out there, or wait for it, better than the guys out killing them an tell me. Then I doubt if ill ever own a copy. Take the advice given and get somebody who knows ferrets to write the chapters for you, it makes sense...

    This season is first time I used a quickset and a basket as my ferreting partner bought one. It's a handy bit of kit but I'll stick with trad set up lol likes been said it's easier on back and once you got hang of it, like everything else it's effortless to do majority of tomes
