  1. keep grafting them and youll soon realise what ferrets work what way, then use collars accordingly.. i tend to have one on each ferret even those i dont dig to regular, just so i can keep tabs on them

  11. we was exact same last night out with youngsters jim, eveywhere had an inch or 2 of surface water, and the bunnys were in pockets of any dry land, wont be able to take much more water up here

  13. iv been taking my kids lamping ferreting and fishing since they were old enough to sit on me shoulders lol they still love it now at 6 an 7, luckily i dont have to carry them now, they at age now they can lamp for themselves and slip dogs, ill be made redundant soon lol
  14. small, easy to keep, easy to train, easy to live with, easy to get working, easy to condition, catch plenty of bunnys on lamp and ferreting if you pick or have access to decent land... too small, easy to break, easy to over run, easy to overmatch, if its a first dog it will teach you a lot but most lurcher men that get the bug will want summat bigger and more capable of more nights out per week or have option for other jobs.... i had a whippet bitch that regular took bags of high 20s bunnys regular, but more than 2 nights a week lamping and ferreting a few mornings and she just lost
