    na youll get no hassle if ye leave the iffy lookin places alone, fox will some times bolt out bunny spots but seem to have a knack a throwin a normal sized net an boltin to safety, if they dont bolt ferrets usually let ye know then can sort it with terrier

    its ususlly a bunny spot which has been opened up for a nest or just a need to dig, if in doubt about them being used by anything other than bunny then dont do it

    we got lots of badger setts with bunnys in full residence, lots of rabbit warrens that fox and brock have opened up and will use now and again and lots of rabbit warrens within 50yds of active badger setts, i will ferret the warrens with only bunnys and even warrens that occasionaly hold fox, but i let the bunnys in the badger setts be, and they in turn repopulate the rest lol

    3ft in height? is that stretched wide?? im clueless other than settin them an catching with them and lifting them, i set my nets at 18 inch/20 inch high at most, few inch at bottom to go in ground and few inch extra pole above top line for handling, so depending on how high, how much extra you want just buy or make some to suit

    im always stinkin of mutts ferrets and bunnys, a good bath/wash is all you need ffs who wants to smell like a flower given off a hint of lavendar ffs

    i kept my dpm jacket when i left, it lay in shed for few years, whilst i spent shed loads of cash on loads of diffent types that never seemed to last a couple hedges lol i started wearin the dpm again an 4 seasons on its still going strong lol

    wait till the insect life comes back, walk the banks and watch for rises, get some polarised specs and try being stealthy, if water is as small as you say you should see them after bit of practice.

    i was under impression the dam gives more is an old wives tale, and its a 50/50 split, the pups could pick up some of her behaviour tho as its her that raises them?? dont mind in slightest being corrected tho lol we always hear of dogs being producers, and obviously a dog can produce more pups than a bitch in a life time, but are producing bitches as common, as dogs which produce decent pups??

    after havin pigeons and canaries (glosters), i got rid to spend more time/effort with mutts. i was in same boat, seemed wierd without a bird about, we opted for a young cock budgie in end, lot tamer than canaries, less hassle than parrots, and added bonus the kids get him out and teach him to talk and tricks lol might be worth thinking about forest??lol

    there is a lot of fake abloys out there, mate of mine bought 2, found out they were fake and bought 2 more real uns lol full price, i laughed for days, but i use them myself now lol i never paid too much tho i got them as a swap for meat lol

    most folk iv watched only ever teach a lurcher to jump from a standstill, and as a result one of most common things im asked for advice for is jumpin, my kids teach my mutts to jump now, 1st thet start wirh jumps from a stand still, then they move onto jumpin whilst trotting. they do that by getting dog used to jumping small ditches rather than over things, more a long jump than a high jump, then it gets put together until young dogs are jumpin over things whilst running, then just increase the height an speed, most stuff my mutts catch over a jump is usually within a yard or 2 of other side

    do what you want, say what you want, if a dogs hard mouthed its hard mouthed, i honestly believe once that mutts running, youve got no say over where itll be feret food or a non bruised bunny that comes back, iv seen real gentle dogs demolish a bunny or hare as tho dog was gutted it took so long go catch lol my older bitch is gentle with bunnys but kills hares, i think they too big to retreive easily lolbut i have seen her take a few bunnys with a strike that hard it looked like a pack a hounds caught it, it usually but not always happens if she has mis timed her strike, so she makes sure nex
