    Been thinking about this cross a lot since I had dog , an If I was to try another I think it would be off a halfx collie/grey put to a coursing dog instead of a grey again, if that makes sense

    I tried the cross, it was real greyhoundy, 27 ats an about 70lb in weight. Dog was fast, real fast and could turn well for sucha big fast dog, as clever as you needed, only fault I found was it couldn't take too much graft, it started losing condition when asked to do most nights of the week. I rehomed the dog for that reason, he hated bein left in and I needed to be out, I'll see if I can dig up a pic for ye..

    No lol it's not that big lol started off with fibre glass water tanks lol clad them in half logs an half sink them, sturgeon out grew them in matter of weeks lol so them we made a raised pond, 15ft long and 5 ft wide, they out grew that one aswell lol we now got pond sunk in garden and they doing fine, next one to outgrow it is going in river tho lol fook doing another lol

    Believe it or not lol we got a wee ghost carp that bullies the sturgeon lol if I had my way I'd drop it in local pike pond see if it try's bullying them lol

    I only had half hour spare before school run lol I'll get one of them tho but we gave them a big area to hide in and that's exactly what they doing now lol

    Just out curiosity how big is a big gudgeon mate? Iv had em from some commercial fisheries and as a lad on river but they was tiny. We bought some 8 years ago now an put them In our pond with sturgeon and carp and they huge now, I know our pond ain't same as wild fish but just curious to know how big they go in wild??

    I'm tryin to squeeze few days in this week before kids start pestering to get out with me lol it's nice takin them but it's also nice to have a day to meself lol cracking day out he looks as happy as he could be, what more could ye want? Keep him at it

    Mate of mine had a pet one, bred off show dogs, was a half decent ratter and would go to ground on fox but never stayed till dug to, used to do about 15 mins then come off, he bolted a fair few foxes with it, but it was a pain in arse with other male dogs. Uncle had one aswell in 80/90s but it was just a pet aswell and a fooker for fighting with anything with fur on it, we took it ratting and mousing as kids lol it had biggest teeth I ever seen on a dog tho lol
