    Not a cross I am sure many have done, I have come across many Terrier/collie from farm dogs. They look ideal. They suit us mate, that's all that counts to me

    Some woodys are clever as fook, when I used to fly pouters as soon as I put them away three woodys would appear, and come down and eat at our feet and even enter the loft to get spilled food lol they even knew dogs wouldn't touch them and would walk within inches of my lurchers they must have seen dogs ignore pouters lol

    I thought bout spaniel x, but the spaniel make me dizzy lol I like the way the collies work, an after working the collie and the major it made sense to put em together and take a chance on em lol

But it's he type if lurchers they want and they hav seen bitch work for a few seasons now The fawn smaller bitch on right Is that the bitch you brought down 2 seasons ago ? Aye pal it is, she my young lads bunny dog now, and few guys I get out with want pup off her ferreting and lamping bunnys. I think I'll wait for pup out of other bitch tho in few years time, she more my cup of tea now lol I'm secretly hoping mates find pups tho so I don't have to breed her lol

    17/18 ats mate, a bitch out litter is just a wee black terrier, a mate uses her to bolt Fox and out beating lol 1 dog pup reached 19 ats but the rest are 17/18 ats

    Skunk head I live on swale more or less and dabble with a few baits an flies when it's not dog season. Let me know if you down this way we get a mooch along swale with a rod each maybe lol

    Good thread and some good replys, I use my old terrier for Fox and bunny, I even use her for ferreting, only time I've ever had to dig her out a bunny earth and she was on mink lol I got that many bunnys here it would drive a dog mad not being allowed to work them, I've used a few different folks dogs when they were here, an once you can tell what signs mean what quarry the dog is marking then the games on lol I'll be needing a pup soon to fill her boots tho. I honestly believe most terriers even digging dogs that are never allowed off lead will make handy bushers given the chance

    Dogs ain't as fragile as folk think tho, I've seen guys give a dog 10 runs on bunny then call it a night, dogs still busting for more. Push a dog and it may surprise you what it's capable of, obviously you need to make sure you are starting with a fit dog or your on to a pisser from start

    My season is done now, was gonna do a bit of fishing tonight to be honest but it's like summat out a horror movie out there and I've bottled it lol this so might be okay but I'd bet Northalerton is just like here

    Only a few mile that walk lol, found a cracking wee lake full of pike and perch 1st time I ever had to do that walk, was too scared to phone guard room to get lift back to vimy while in training lol
