Ive never been involved in show dogs only workers and I never will understand it. I was surprised when she asked me to ask this question. This was just after Crufts and she was told by the judge that she would of won her class had the bitches ears tipped more. Its a f***ing joke as far as im concerned. I thought the other year that after a lot of well deserved criticism, the kennel club was only supposed to mark a dog down in the ring if the fault effected the health of the breed. There's been some great comedians as well as the odd retard that have given me quite a few chuckles. That

Just want to make this clear. I would NEVER agree or justify anyone putting anything out to deliberately try to injure a dog. What I didn't see a problem with was the sign itself. If he's having problems with people going onto his land illegally then that sign should act as a good deterrent. After all who would run there dog where there was a high chance it could be hurt!
-
To be honest I don't see the problem unless your looking at running your dog there without permission. At least they've put a sign up warning you that if you run your dog here it might get smashed up. It may seem stupid but there may be things going on you don't know about. I've known plenty of landowners get pissed of at people running that they've left chain harrows etc in long grass to deliberately mess dogs up. At least there kind of saying you poach here prepare for a vets bill.

Either would be a great choice but I would steer towards the HW. If you are looking to improve your shooting with a firearm then IMO I wouldn't choose either. A spring or gas ram rifle would be more beneficial for you as more emphasis is put on correct hold and trigger control with a recoiling rifle. Atb with your choice

My suffers with the same and I was advised a antihistamine but as others have said the dog needs it before the stings to be effective. The other thing advised to me was baking soda, rubbing it into the pads. Seems to work pretty well.

Ok firstly I have nothing to do with this so don't knock me but my ex's aunt who breeds smooth collie show dogs has asked for tips on how to get one of her dogs ears to flop. Apparently us "terrier boys" know better than most? Guessing its a show dog thing? Well I haven't a clue but I said I'd ask. Any help appreciated

I'm a southpaw to buddy I use a Remington 700 slightly customised. In my opinion there one of the best base rifles you can get.

Finding A 100 Yard Plus Range Nearest Me.
Dubba replied to jam1e's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I believe there is still a range run by Paul Hill at Crudwell which is just the other side of Cirencester. It's been a few years since I shot there if I remember correctly the range went to 200yd. It might be worth contacting Pete Tupper at Cotswold gun room to see if he has anymore details. -
In a club tonight and this really ugly girl came up to me, squeezed my arse and said "give me your phone number sexy". I said "have you got a pen''. She smiled and said "yes". I said "well f**k off back to it, before the farmer notices you're missing".

Names For My Beddy Whippet Pup
Dubba replied to Dozza#lurcherterrier's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Asked the neighbours kids they suggested Borris lol not very feminine but I can kinda see it " Borris you bitch get here" -
You sir are a f***ing retard you come onto a public forum to ask what's wrong with your dog. And people tell you straight "take it to the vet". And all you do is slag them of! Your obviously a complete c**t. So what if your dogs scared up a bit, so are many of ours. I've never met a vet yet that wouldn't treat a dog regardless of there personal beliefs. The fact that you'd put the life of your little warrior in our hands rather than doing the best for him just goes to show the knowledge and respect you have for your dogs.

Providing you our not endangering anyone using the footpath you would not be breaking the law. I have many footpaths on the land I stalk and its never been a problem yet ( touch wood). If you need a copy of the relevant legislation I'd contact either the BASC or the BDS

No need to dock them. There tails are thick, strong, fairly short and not prone to injury. Comes in handy if you need to grab a dog that's in a tight spot
-
Just found your thread Ned makes cracking reading. Keep it up buddy very enjoyable
-
It's highly unlikely theyd insist on you being monitored now Whippet. The whole point of mentoring was to ensure that you were safe with a firearm which you've proved you are. If they do I'd get straight on the phone to the BASC and see what there take is on it

What Do You Guys Think Of This?
Dubba replied to Karl Daw's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
I've tried them recently and they've lasted approx 6 months with no issues. They've been out24/7 and although the quality isn't the same they've done well. Only time will tell
