One of my favourites a Muela got given to me by a ex. Holds a beautiful edge and can take some serious punishment, I use it for anything from dispatching RTA deer casualties to cutting turf and soil when setting mole traps. Just a couple of swipes through a pull through sharpener and its like a razor again. Expensive but well worth it

I've been using night vision for quite a few years with dog and rifle and it can work very well on Charlie. The problem is a lot of foxes aren't just lamp shy but shy to being called to as well. One of the problems I found when using NV/ lamp and dog when calling was keeping the dog calm and quiet. My dogs were pretty quiet but as soon as I would start to call the anticipation of there quarry getting closer would sometimes tip them over the edge. I've been offered one of these at a very reasonable price but I know very little about them other than there baised on the super ten. Has anyone had one or able to give me any information on them? Apart from the obvious woodwork and barrel shortening what other mods were made to them? Atb

Not sure buddy don't know enough about them. Is there more than one type of the breed? I don't think they've been f****d about with to much by the show people KC only recognised them as a pure breed last year.

They are here Bird there's a few breeders in the uk. They are supposed to have great temperments but I know what you mean about the wrong hands

There's a article in the shooting times today about coursing Red deer in Scotland with Deerhounds seems they were more than up for the job. Shame it was banned before I was born would of been interesting to see that.

If I'm wrong about then I'd apologise to the fella but it doesn't change my views It wouldn't matter who was in charge they still wouldn't get my support. No oh course I'm not happy about being abused but when I have come home I've seen as many white faces hiding being those placards as asian id sling the lot out. Just because I don't support the EDL doesn't mean I don't think we need to start locking the doors and start chucking some of the fuckers out.

You mean Tom Robinson or whatever name he goes by these days he goes by about 4 different names. Yeah top bloke convicted of domestic violence,possession of class A drugs and sold his business to a bunch of Poles. Got no time for the EDL and while there's a lot of great guys in the EDL that genuinely love our great country there outweighed by the amount of pricks. Private there's a few of us that run a fishing syndicate upstream from Ross rowing club. We've tried to get grants and outside help but know one was interested. It's good work for the terriers
