  1. In .177 Action and metal work must be in good condition. Stock left or right sporter or thumbhole any condition. Ideally within 50 mile of Cirencester Cash waiting for the right rifle

  3. Think it's Delvosteron, not 100% but I think it has to be used before they come into season. Best bet would be just speak to the vet.
  4. As others have said go down the FAC route and get a proper tool for the job. Out of interest if you do snare or trap how are you planning on dispatching the caught fox?
  5. Gob smacked fair play to Ricky he fought well but that was the wrong decision. Even Ricky looked surprised that he'd won
  6. Yep for that money a Hilux or a Amazon, both the DB's
  7. Most of her works going to be rat, mink and rabbit. The bitch is 31/2 and has been entered a dozen times which isn't a lot but she is very handy, hard but clever with it. Most of my fox work is paid jobs and dare I say it done with the rifle or traps depending on the situation.
  8. She's 13 weeks now and has started coming to work with me. I like to get them used to the sight, stock and smells of farm early. She didn't catch these rats herself but watched her mum take them. Going to have to start getting her on the lead soon as rat number seem to be building and I don't want her trying to take one before she's old enough. But she's been showing loads of interest. Yesterday I was looking at a rabbit job and the bitch was pushing lots of rabbits out while the pup stayed with me. I let her have a hunt around after and it was great to watch the pup really using her nose t
  9. My old mk3 Capri, bought it of classic ford mag where they'd modded it as a track day car. When I got it I ditched the old 2.8 cologne and replaced it with a 5.0 v8 I had out of a TVR Chimera. A real handful in the dry and a death trap in the wet. Always put a smile on my face
  10. I've had one for a couple of years and its been great as a work tool. The only problem I ever had was a seal splitting which I've had go on others PCP's. Never had any issues with jams or the mags when using a varity of pellets they've always been reliable.
  11. Same wish I'd never sold it. Had the accessory rail changed to a weaver and a tactical grip fitted, very stable. Never had consistency issues with mine.
  12. Totally agree the fella sounds like a right c**t and not the sort of person that should be acting as a mentor. Was that the FAO and a condition that you needed a mentor? There must be someone better about, is there anyone local to you here? ATB
  13. Lol there's a vegan lass round here that's a active supporter of the ALF. She hates me and during one of are many heated arguments we ended up f***ing. She defiantly swallowed! God I love rohypnol
  14. Rick, honestly I'm not having a pop at you and I agree your mentor sounds like a right c**t and you should defiantly find a better one. But having been in his position of having students I would be very concerned if they were taking that long to shoot accuratly at a inanimate target. I certainly wouldn't be taking then out on live quarry that tend to be unpredictable at best and rarely stand motionlessly for that kind of time. As I said not having a pop ATB Rick
  15. It doesn't however a mag is considered to be part of a firearm therefore if the mag is loaded so is the rifle regardless of whether its in or out.
  16. Good advise Alsone bit that wouldn't be a legal requirement to remove the bolt. The only reason I mentioned mags is that there considered to be part of the rifle therefore if the mags loaded, wherever it may be, the rifle considered loaded. Making it a offence in a public place
  17. Split views on this. while I don't agree with him timing you out loud as that puts you of and puts unnecessary pressure on you. And i agree that you should only ever take a shot in your own time But seriously 10 seconds is a long time. . If your not taking the shot because your wobbling then its not going to get any better the longer you take infact it will get worse as muscle fatigue sets in and it shows lack of confidence and experience which means you might rush a shot later and wound a beast. Just put some more range time in and practice lots untill you build your confidence up. S
  18. Yes buddy you'd be fine if its in a slip just make sure the mag is unloaded even if its in your pocket. As a loaded mag is still considered to be a loaded rifle. Did the FAO tell you why they they would advise the .17?
  19. Anyone tried this? What patterns worked for you? I regularly foul hook them in a hole on our streach of the Wye when targeting salmon. Really fancy targeting them, any advice appreciated.
  20. Cabelas it's called you can get some great deals through them. Just bought a Barbour Bushman jacket £60 in the sales at Countrywide bargin
