    It's a difficult one, personally I would never let any of my dogs take a rat and certainly not a mink before there adult teeth are through. Minks a tough little f****r, my dogs have more scars from those little fuckers than any fox they've taken At this age they should still be playing and learning boundaries. Not going full at work. I suspect boundaries are the problem and they need to be be pups. Slow things down. We're they very young when they were taken away from the bitch? ATB with them they are cracking looking pups, just remember they are pups!

    The best thing you can do with choke is weld the fuckers in and forget about them. Your 20 is more than enough for highish birds unless it has seriously loose chokes. How high are we talking? My 12 that I use for all my game shooting is choked 1/8th and 5/8ths I use 32g 5's and am lucky enough to shoot 20+ days a year on high bird pheasant. It's very rare that I need the 2nd barrel to make a clean kill. If you get on with the 20 chocked how it is, look at the cartridges first.

    A lot of ex serviceman are not homeless due to immigrants there homeless because if the way were treated after leaving. There's a serious lack of support when you rejoin civvy life. If your a countryman it's even worse, I cannot go to my GP for PTSD because they now have to disclose it to the police and I'd loose my tickets.

    After years of using PCP's for work and pleasure I'm now tempted to give it up and go back to my routes with a springer. At the moment I've got a s410 and a logun s16s. I'm a pest controller by trade. A few times I've been let down with seals going just before a big job and I've ended up using the ex misuses springer which has done the job well. My first proper air rifle was a HW77 when I was 13 and there wasn't a lot I missed. I'm very tempted to jack in all the PCP's and get a SFS springer, what do you think guys think should or shouldn't i ?

    There more than capable of doing anything you want them to. It's true that some can be soft but that's more down to the breeding. A lot of people don't have the patience to use them for earth work as they tend to be late starters but they will excell at it given the chance. I work all legal quarry with mine, they also come stalking with me and will mark Deer and follow blood trails. Very versatile and biddable terriers. In the past with previous dogs I've hunted badger, Coypu and Otter in France and they've done well at it.

    Don't knock it I saw it done in Saudi a few years back. They had a hare skin covering the car and hid it in some cover. As soon as the pup went forward and caught the scent the car took of. With a modern RC it turned very well and they were able to change speeds to suit the dog. It did seem pretty effective. If I hadn't stopped with the Lurchers when my old girl died I'd defiantly give it ago with a pup

    Got a XT turbo auto that's my daily drive, I thrash the bollox's out of it. Get about 25 mpg driving it like that which I don't thinks to bad, although it is compared to a lot.

    Unfortunatly I've just experienced this issue. Took my gun out this morning and was horrified to find rust on the barrel and side plate. That had built up in one week, and it was cleaned before I put it away. I was absolutely gutted as it my favorite game gun and I only re blued the barrels last year. Thankfully most of its come of with abit of barrel solvent and 0000 wire wool. I'll definitely be looking into ways to prevent this.

    Not sure about piss buckets but if I'm in bed it goes out the window. In the kitchen, in the sink. Ad if I'm watching tv straight out the patio doors. I see it as my way of going green, gotta save water don't you know Did have some drunken girl piss the bed though not to impressed, thankfully it was me mates spare room

    Caught one once, never heard or seen one before or since. Unfortunately i caught it during summer and was in a trap I temporary lost, so it was in pretty shit condition by the time I found it.
