    It might twang a little but it'll still be accurate... As for the twang, my advice is read all you can about these guns, and then service it yourself. A good clean and relube will probably be all that the gun will need. I recently bought a 97K for £250. It dieselled a little but didn't twang. The dieselling is also easy to fix. These great rifles are really easy to work on.

    I have the Hawke 3-9x40 AO IR on medium mounts on a HW95 but it's difficult to get the front bikini cover on. (Actually I'm tempted to cut a section out of the cover to avoid scratching the barrel). For that reason I agree with other posters in that high mounts are probably the better option for a 50 mm objective.

    Hi All, I find that Webley Accupell, recommended by my local RFD, fit the breech of my HW95 loosely, and that it's possible for the pellet to fly out when I return the barrel to the firing position. I'm careful to prevent this from happening because I don't want to fire the rifle dry. Will pellets that are loose fitting in the breech also be loose fitting in the barrel? Is there any chance that these loose fitting pellets could damage the barrel of my rifle? Are there any power or accuracy implications for loose fitting pellets, particularly light ones like the Accupel (= C

    Hi All, Just wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself. I'm based just outside Cannock in the West Midlands. I am a complete beginner having only been into air rifles for the last couple of months. My current gun is a HW95KS 310, bought based upon good advice that I've read here and elsewhere, and am very pleased with it. I'm reading and absorbing as much as I can right now along with shooting (mainly in the garden, but I plan to join Tony Wall's club soon). Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Safe shooting.
