Nice shooting mate! i doubt ill be shooting at live quarry anytime soon tho! and ive got a Barnett Black Widow, i don't know what its like i haven't received it yet but would you say this is a good catapult for a first? Ive also purchased some 10mm ball bearings but i didn't know what size to use, and recommendations on the size you recommend?

  5. On the Scorpion i have a Hawke Sport 4-12x50 IR AO, But i certainly prefer the half mildot mate! And i got it in wood & .177 Im not going to be getting a new rifle anytime soon now, but i think for my next i may give .22 a go and see how i get on with it!
  6. Very good shot mate! That rifle certainly causes some damage!
  7. Very good honest write up mate! You didn't need that shot especially at this awful time but, when shooting at live quarry, the odd bad shot is bound to happen from time to time, and happens to us all! but like what has been said at least you pulled it back together and got a couple more shots off spot on! Another nice read with plenty of photos again tho! Top Bloke ATB Mike

  10. I Have a Seat Leon 2.0 Litre diesel and i will easily get 60mpg out and its still a new engine (4,200 Miles) so the MPG will get better still! And there is loads of room in the back (especially compared to my old mini!) and insurance is about £1200 for me, im 20 and dont have any years no clams due to being on parents cars previously If you go for a second had older style (2005-2012 i think) you will get them fairly cheap my dads older style had over 125,000 on the clock without any problems! Hope this helps, Mike
  11. Yes mate i can imagine a bit of practice and the rifle will be spot on!!
  12. I went out friday and didn't even see a thing let alone get chance to let a shot off! Very unusual but i suppose it happens!

  16. Haha you would love it mate! I think ill need it tbf Mike
  17. Yes mate it isn't cheap, but i knew the rifle was a keeper so thought i may as well get the best out of it, and the bolt felt like it was grinding a little before, but now its smooth as silk! Mike
  18. Well i know everyone and there dog owns one now! but here is my new toy the HW97KT i picked up friday! Its in .177 and is paired with a Hawke Panorama EV 4-12x40 AO. Haven't had much chance to shoot it yet having only put around 70 pellets through, but i love it already! I can now appreciate the skill required to shot a springer pellet on pellet as my first couple groups were all over the place, they have tightened up considerably although nowhere near where i want them to be! But i haven't done any pellet testing yet, only used some Super Field that Tony gave my with the rifle,
  19. Nice shooting mate!, gun looks very nice aswel! Mike
