  1. trenchfoot.i think the malamute has allready been selected.when the pup is 8 wks old i will put him up on my other user name.anubis which is going to be his name.we will then see whaht this cross is capable of .no bullshit just facts whether good or bad
  2. paulsmithy83. swearing and getting angry just gets others angry.i apologise for saying what i said.i may not agree you may not agree but at the same time each have thier right to say it
  3. c hall.i must say i dont think they would be very popular as they will be huge also firm training would be needed from a very young age as if it got to be the alpha male it could be game over for its owner.the cost of feeding it would be exspensive .i would like to put malxg back to a greyhound some of the resulting progeny would be very fast.this cross obviously would not be suitable for the average moucher or pure hare dog man.but they would be ideal for the rouge who wants to be able to take anything of any decent size.
  4. i am just trying to point out that for foxing and deer preban these put to a greyhound would be the buisness.heavy powerful not scared of anything when put to the greyhound fast enough to take anything in this country .a proper heavy duty killing machine 28 to 34 weight 85lbs to 120lbs if not more .dont you lot appreciate dogs with bottle and real physhical power ? a true predator as close to the wolf as you could legally get .
  5. paulus i think there is a big difference between a cow and a polar bear this malamute has obviously been trained to go for the nose .most dogs would shite them selves at the thought of a polar bear.i only put it on here because some idiots on here said malamutes have got no botttle they are just pack animals
  6. http://youtu.be/_F1Pp1DgIoU malamutes have got no bottle.
  7. desertbred .if your saluki is such a killer send it over to america a northen coyote would kill it and take it down its den for the cubs to play with
  8. fox dogs need to be heavy powerfully built to do the job properly its no good sending a lighweight in the ring to do a heavyweights job .killing foxes slowly and cruely with underpowerd dogs is not the right way to go about it.it does not make hunting look good to do such things. i would have thought those arabs would have had more sense.still when they kill thier women for being raped and cut westerners heads off what do you espect.life is cheap and brutal over there
  9. imagine the scene you are out preban.lord rich pants.says come on me estate old boy i know you have got the tools to do the job.you like him are very rich you can afford the best bloodlines money can buy.first of all we are going after rabitts in the lamp.you have saluki gsdxg bullxgr whippetxcw .which dog are you going to take out of your pack.you want to catch the maximum so you take the dog suited for the job wxcw small light clever and quick.next he says we are after foxes .so out of your pack you take the big bxg as he has the weight the fire and the courage to do the job .then he says in
  10. jdarcy.if i ever catch another by accident ? i will take a picture of it.geoff
  11. bendrover. this man is in his fifties he is very fit and runs all year .i dont personally agree with thaht my self as i like to leave things alone in breeding season.he will course then lamp the dog hard .like i said he needs to rest the dog as it is only 14months old.some people just canott stop hunting when they should be giveing nature a chance to restock
  12. raw.some dogs are sometimes to clever
  13. deerman. i was referring to pure mals from alaska fighting wise.are you sure these were malxg?
  14. i workwhippets .that whippet is in very good condition plenty of muscle .
  15. deerman .i am sorry i am getting a bit confused i think this one called mal came from kent .taser came from hereford.i have not seen mal run .i dont think i will see him run now untill next season as i dont like to see dogs running stuff out of season
  16. deerman.in alaska the malamute is a very strong powerful dog with bags of stamina they will fight to the death .i can only go on that basis. i allways speak my mind and tell the truth about dogs . if they lack bottle when i train one up i would be the first to say so.in any cross you get good and bad excamples.as i said i would personally prefer gsdxg as i know the cross very well.but i will give the malxg a go nothing ventured nothing gained.bit worried about the mutton mauling tho
  17. deerman.the dog he has now was bred by some one by accident .i dont know i think he said the kent area .taser was a killer but was not fast enough for daylight hares so was not kept .he caught everything else but was also a mutton mauler if a dog is not fast enoughfor daylight he wont keep them
  18. deerman.i have known the man who runs the lurcherx mal since 1978 .he would not keep a bad dog .the dogs he does not keep if they dont make the grade speed wise most people would be more than happy with .but like me he likes a faster than average dog .i will be selecting a greyhoundy pup out of the litter as he will then we will soon find out if they are fast enough.i think the bitch has to be the greyhound ,haveing the bitch malamute is the wrong way round.a malxg bred correctly will take anything and will have bags of stamina and should be very clever.if one or two throw with the speed that
  19. ok i will have to mobile him later was one called pete? he had grey x mal previously off pete called taser he had him from 8 wks old i think .
  20. deerman.i canott remember i know he said it was not a planned mateing but a accidental one.i think they were on preloved priced at 150
  21. j darcy.i dont think jack is the right word this dog killed a lot of stuff .being only fifteen when i got the dog at 8 wks old i run him very hard .i think i was to blame because of going out daytime coursing then lamping at night .i have told my friend i think he is over running the dog and the dog is probaly stiff and knackerd.no dog can take that kind of treatmeant.even a saluki x greyhound if run heavy in the day then lamped at night is going to be knackerd.as i said at ten yrs of age he was burnt out and was not taken out very much .the day he died he coursed a hare ragged and thinking ba
  22. deerman.my friend is going to breed mal.dog x greyhound. bitch.we will keep one each hopefully the ones that have thrown more to the greyhound will have the required stamina and speed.i know that some gsdxg are fast enough for hares preban .tho in a litter only one or two will do so .malxg should in theory thow one or two fast type dogs.still time wil tell.my friends dog has defenitely caught daylight being saluki lurcher dog x malamute bitch may have caused a speed loss due to the sire not being pure running dog.tho he said in the photo he saw .it looked like a greyhound
  23. beast. i know my gsdxg was very clever i have watched him watch a gypsy dog course the hare then run and catch the hare after the other dog had done mostl of the work .in the lamp he allways let the other dog run the rabitt in towards the hedge where he was waiting .he did all sorts of independent clever things.he has coursed hares preban and turned them several times then just stopped.the day he died he coursed a hare very well nearly had it .then went home and had a heart attack .never stopped on a deer tho preban
