  1. nothing worse, I had 400 quids worth of birds stolen last year from private allotments in the middle of nowhere, its a 200 yard walk from the road and you cant see them from the road, I just breed for pleasure now rather than for show or selling, just not worth all the effort and heartbreak if some theiving git decides to help himself.
  2. ebay isnt too bad for hatch rates, i still only buy eggs that i can collect that way i can see where they have come from and they arent getting chucked around in the post!
  3. could be that something is scaring them, a fox mooching round during the night or something, if they get stressed they wont lay and it can take a while for their bodies to kick in again, try leaving some eggs or golf balls in the nest box, the sight of eggs can help kick thing off for them. As long as they are being fed decent layers pellets they should be getting all they need, keep clear of the cheap shite though!
  4. there are other sales now going for 2 and 3 quid!! gutted whoever bought them

  8. unfortunately thats the way the world is these days, my sister had a dog stolen a few years back, got her back a year later and she had been used for dog baiting apparently they will use ferrets for this as well hence the theft of them.
