    I use to live on Sutton hall road were my mum and dad still does you or some 1 in ur family might now them it's munt a Margaret fretwell it's a small word lol

    Cocker just under 2 years will pick up and do what ever I ask her to do just not push through cover

    I am from originaly from bolsover because Am in the army am not up there a lot I was just wondering if I could get up there once in a while do to a bit of rabbiting and ratting Cheats mat

    How do you get your dogs to push through cover she will run through long grass but not brambles or any prickly things even if she see her query she will sit and look at it and then me any tips on how to get her to push the bird out the cover for the gun

    keeping them game and starving them is 2 different things but thats jmho i thought if you feed them it gives them energy to run all night so if there starved where does the energy come from or is it desperation for the next meal It's not about nt giving them no food that's onli if the ill you give more the day before or a little in the morning and its bout the drive for the next meal it seemed to work for my dad and plenty of other old boys and praberly still work for people no it's like each to there own

    My dad amd the old boys round were am from used them but didn't starve him self lol but he said it use to keep them keen for the game

    I find that if I still feed him when he has the runs he have the for days were if I don't he will be fine within 24 hours but when he ant been feed he don't go out on a walk or anything he just stays on his bed

    I have a 3/4 welsh collie x he hunts in and out of cover like he's after a dog on heat and he runs what ever is in front of him I chouldn't ask for more from him really

    No I don't use starve days unless they have the runs or sum thing like that but it's ment to like clear and detox there body's

    I just wondered becouse I have read on other forums bout people doin it but when I was a lad my dad jst gave the dog a stack or chop or fish and I still do and is it dog CID liver oil u give them or human ones

    I start by hetting the dog play with what i am going to use and playing a bit of a tug of war so he wont let go of it then whn he wonts throw it for him and get the dog to start the retrieve back to me then I turn around and walk away and he should run back to because he thinks your going to leave him and whn u have got that bit bomb proof I start with getting him to delive to hand but like its been said it should be a game for him or he won't do it and lose interest

    What do people thing about a 3/4welsh collie 1/4 whippet he is big boned and he can take a beating in his stride and carry on like nothing's happened he has the pace to catch rabbit and I have a lure machine made out of a old bike and I carnt peddle it fast enough but what do people fink of this tip of cross Cheers matt

    What are people's views on a brushing jrt with a tail I know when spaniels have there tail dogs it to stop injurer but has any one had a jrt or any other terrier with out its tail be docked that has had a injury to its tail And what age whould you say it is to old to have there tail docked and do you have to prove that you are working your dog
