    Found the measurements on google images and just played about to get it to my requirements. I've made another one out of pallets got another to do but just working out best location for it so whether needs to be fixed to tree, post or free standing. Trouble is as its on the shoot I keeper I can't have them on show too much as the owners don't want themselves or guns looking at them.     Yer that's the problem when the have other options. Same as when I pigeon shoot, there is way too much rape round here they just move off elsewhere! I get better bags roost shooting after the shooting season in February, has one evening this year where me and the girlfriend shot 58 in 2 hours.

    Cheers couldn't believe how well they were coming in, walked back to my truck a couple of times to let pup out and both times came back to crows and jackdaws sitting in the pattern! All fields surrounding are rape so they didn't have any other options which helped!

    Finished welding up new high seat frame. Digging in a telegraph pole and attaching to that. Going to be facing pheasant pen so should pick up some foxes when polts come and have some fun with roe and muntjac! Will put pics up when in position.

    Had 4 hours this morning on some winter wheat after some crows. Finished with 38 and 4 pigeons. Only started with 3 full body decoys so was chuffed with result!

    Hi chaps, zeroing in hawke sport hd 3-9x50 today after taking photon XT off my CZ .22 and one cap dropped into long grass and couldn't find the bloody thing! Does anyone know where I can get one from or anyone have one spare I'll happily pay for it. Cheers Jarvis

    I would second this. I was always taught that a fox print leaves an X shape mark between the toes and pad where as a dog print doesn't.

    Same way as 'the one' get group of fives or tens and put pegs back through wire and carry on wrist or I have a back pack with spare wires, pegs etc in if I have lots to carry. If you do them this way they are easy to count in and count out aswell.

    Great, just what I wanted to hear, thanks. I'll get some ordered! I've got a job in some privately owned woodland which is full of squirrels so I'm going to try something different and make some raised feeding stations and have 2 or 3 traps set at each station dotted around the woodland some stations with fenn's and others BG's see which ones catch cleaner.

    I'm thinking of getting some 55 body grips to use on some squirrels, just wondering who else is using them and what they make of them. At the moment I'm only running fenn's and I use mk 6, just fancy trying something new.

    Sorry to hear about your hob mate. Lost my favorite hob few weeks ago, was gutted, he was 8 but had many days and memories with him! Still got his son so can keep his strain going.

    Used to camp there every year with my family and friends and could see year on year numbers through the gates were dropping and almost every stand you went on you could hear them complaining about price to get in pitch fee etc, we weren't surprised to hear it has ended. What really used to get me they would stand at the gates at the end of the days with a bucket asking for your spare change! As if they are a hard up bloody charity and haven't just had £30 out of every poor sod walking in!

    I'd use 6" flex pipe instead of the ramp. I have pipes in my court varying sizes and angles it's good enrichment, plus no chance then of them falling/ jumping of sides, especially if in future you had kits in there...Im planning on building a full court with pipes and stuff in, what I am doing with the ramp is putting it on a hinge with a latch on the underside of the upper level so I can lift it up and latch in place to split into 2 seperate areas to assist with cleaning the hutch. I have also cut another 2 pieces for a sleeping area wall and door downstairs to replace the small mesh one at

    I`d be wary using carpet or 10mm square mesh. They can get caught and rip nails out when they topple off the ramp in the struggle or play fighting. What I normally do is tack lengths of 10mm square baton the width of the ramp on or cut grooves in the ramp every 1.5 inches. The groove cut method also works on bits of smooth pipe. It also helps keep the tubes clean(er) as the shed fur, dust and dander falls through. Tidy hutch by the way. Thats what my new builds look like in my head...
