  1. Both heart and lung shots mate, felt more confident of a clean kill like you said, bobbing about all over the place. No the hide is like a 2 man dome tent sort of size really but it pops up on it own, bit more room than the chair pop up I think, it's got 3 look outs so you get a better range to shoot from as well. For the money I'm well pleased with it.
  2. Yeah I picked that up from my local army n navy, thought it added a little extra cover.
  3. Hide worked a treat mate, £60 off flea bay so I was well happy. This is a pic of it set up in my garden when I first got it, just trying it out. I should have taken a pic yesterday where I was shooting but didn't.
  4. Yes mate I think you could be right, grey beaks, my fault.
  5. Took a trip to my field this afty after work to try my new pop up hide out. Still very wet and muddy under foot but managed a couple of Rooks which caused absolute mayhem and turned the sky black. Only trouble after that they would settle so called it a day after 2 hours, but impressed with the hide and 2 in the bag and back home in time for tea.
  6. Yeah that is defiantly a grey mate, just had a bit of a bath In a very muddy ditch on the way out of its tree. Lol
  7. Good shooting mate, looks like sunshine too, I got bloody soaked this morning.
  8. Popped out this morning in heavy showers which quickly turned into torrential rain, got soaked but hid under my usual sitty tree and managed to bag 3 Woody's and a bonus tree rat on the walk back to my car which ended up landing in a rather full ditch, so not a wasted trip just a very wet one.
  9. Good shooting mate, always a good feeling after a clean head shot like that, well done.
  10. Get my BSA ultra se back Tuesday after sending it off to Darrin at XTX for a reg and tune up 2 weeks ago. Ever so helpfull and really good communication nothings to much trouble, can't wait to get it back and try it out on some bunnies.
  11. Excellent step by step guide fella and a dam site cheaper than the yank version. Made one myself this afternoon. Did you download the iscope app??? It's works a treat with it. Hopefully be able to post some hunting clips up real soon.
  12. Cheers for the comments lads, looks like a few of us had the same idea this morning even though it was dam near freezing.
  13. That's very good of you mate, cheers for the offer. Heard that you cant because of the pressure gauge but just wondered if anyone had on here.
  14. Cracking looking gun you got there mate, very nice. And top draw shooting too, unsupported squizzer on a sunday morning can't be bad, it was bloody cold though, brrrrrrrrrrr.
  15. I was up and about this morning, misses still sound in bed so thought I'd pop out for a quick mooch round my prem. Bloody colds the word so only stayed out for a couple of hours but manged to bag a squizzer with the Ultra SE no problem. Back home now in the warm with a nice cuppa tea, misses still asleep none the wiser. Happy days. :-)
  16. I've recently brought the above rifle, massively impressed with it but was just wondering if anyone has managed to fit a bipod to one???? Any info much lay appreciated.
