    My Mrs is Thai and was brought up to hunt with her father from a young girl. If you never hunted , you went hungry. The things she told me she ate, from snake to bugs to forest rat. So she has no problem with me going hunting or popping a pellet in bugsy. We also have a fund which we can dip into, when we need stuff. Funny how she dips into it a lot more than me though. Still that's women for you.

    I have a HW100SK in .22. and its a cracking multi-purpose rifle. And as others have said, with the right pellet it will out-shoot most people every time.. My shoots AA field diablo, Accupells and Falcon Accuracy Plus extremely well. Good luck in the pellet testing.

    Excellent shooting mate. The FA+ are brilliant pellets, probably the flattest shooting .22 pellet around.

    Dare I say this. PCPs are great guns. But can become boring to shoot after a while. And even their deadly predictable accuracy gets mundane. A good springer gives you the best of both worlds and makes you more in tune with the rifle, as well as teaching you the correct principles. Also a nicely tuned springer will hold its own against most PCPs. Just look on here or Hunters Vermin channel for proof. I do have both a high end PCP and Springer, and shooting the springer just makes me smile more. Of course it will depend on your guns intended purpose, as a multishot is ideal for a hunting

    Seen it on his new site yesterday. I look forward to seeing a review of it in actual hunting scenario. I do think over two grand is a bit steep though. ?

    Spot on shooting mate. There is just something so satisfying about nailing your quarry with a springer ,rather than a PCP. Takes me back to my younger years.
