    As already said mate , I would use either Sportsmatch or BKL mounts. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for

    There is a video on youtube, were some guy used a green pan scourer wrapped around a hair curler in his 97K . It seemed to deaden the report a bit.. But has already been said a lot of the noise comes from the action itself

    Would have to agree with the above post. Tried both and bought the HW100, its about personal choice though

    UK Neil does cocking aids for the 97s in either aluminium, brass or anodised finish. I have one on mine and its the business
