read some books, even try and get a mentor, join the internatoinal falconry forum. i fly harris, and goshawks but a would say the harris is a good beginers bird get your own young at 18 to 20 weeks old. put your own stamp on the bird. the goshawk is brilliant hawk i wish i got one years ago , but i had flown harris hawks for 6 years before i got a male goss

flee the land replied to 2.8 guy's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
a friend of mine just crossed a lab greyhound bitch to a minshaw x greyhound dog, the pups are 5 weeks old and it was a planned breeding 8 pups and they where all gone from day 1. both parents can do the job -
would you be breeding these again i want a whippet x saluki

your very wrong , 18 years ago i got a hancock merle bitch 5/8 3/8s got it off a lad that was lamping her and ferreting , she would creep up onto rabbits on lamp then when close burst of speed then 9 times out of ten the bunny was in the bag, i took the dog off bunnys and done alot of hare with her , no ban then. and after leaving bunnys alone for a bit and doing other stuff . that bitch never done that again . i seen plenty dog do what mine has done . she not to bad now but beleave me this bitch is far from ruined, has a big big name for herself and thats down to me and mostly her. i average
