    Road walking is the key to a well conditioned dog it's the only real way to strengthen muscles tendons and ligaments which provide the skeletal support, or you could just run the dog and pay the vet bills

    Looks well enough to me, but if you are feeding the dry stuff you could try mixing a tin of sardines in tomato sauce in with the food, I add one 2 or 3 times a week, the little value ones from Tesco 34p and crammed in like sardines, puts a bit more condition on a dog and my dogs are over half saluki blooded atb

    My old saluki saturated bitch was equipped with a set of snow shoes like that, she could catch rabbits on steep grassy banks and ran the arable well enough, just wish I'd had her from a pup rather than taking her off the carousel, only ever had one toe injury after running down a bank onto a road on the back of a strong one, must say her pups were a good bit better than her and had well knuckled compact feet
