  1. Green tripe cheap and smelly but it'll soon cover the bones, and the dog will thank you for it aswell
  2. Seen that pup somewhere before ,you must be over the moon with her, she's a lovely little thing, dont think she will let you go hungry, all the best to you both
  3. Think haswell is finished now,but I would'nt take the dogs there anyway, used to be nothing but dealers, and swap merchants at that place
  4. He's a keen looking young dog,got some back on him aswell,be a good age in september to get him going, all the best captain
  5. You wanna get them boils on your cocker's face lanced
  6. 18 mile, are you training your dog for the marathon
  7. I walked about eight miles a few nights ago on the land where I first started coursing, the place used to be crawling with hares,I only seen one,and that was put up by my ten year old dog, travelled a little way down the road this afternoon to some hill farm/heather moorland, and there was hares all over the place, dogs were going mad on their leads
  8. Sounds like a nice place, only see roe deer up here, though there is one solitary red stag living with the horses on a local nature reserve, think he has been picked up when he was a calf, and someone has tried to keep him as a pet, until he got too big,he must be a good sixty or more miles from any wild herds
  9. When a parrot passes, who gets the pieces of eight ?

  10. Never seen one before, but looks like an old greyhound coursing national coursing club badge,
  11. They were hanging on butterbean's washing line, last time they were seen
  12. Hosepipe think it would be more jumping practice for my dogs if I tried that, straight over the garden fence is that england's oldest tree next to the trough, looks a nice relaxing place to have a radox bath, nice bright looking collie crosses atb
  13. Was this post mean't to go in the puntgunning section
  14. Maybe not but the young malamute hybrids will be ready to go next season, then we'll see what's what
  15. Real smart pups,be good little freezer fillers for someone, and at that price, what can you say
  16. I used to run a hare in the early 90's,it only looked about 6lbs wet through, but it used to spring up out of the same form on the same field, and used to straight line the dog every time, and that dog was no slouch, when you see a real good one you never forget them
  17. I've heard it said that the hare can reach speeds of up to 45 mph,Know they are fast but that sounds a bit over the top to me,can a greyhound even reach that sort of speed ?
  18. Never overlook the short coupled, some of them have no problem putting them in the bag
  19. Too bad kangaroos are slow as shit. Only the ones that have been tied down by old rolf
  20. The hares vital organs are out of proportion to an animal of it's size,I've always likened it to a human with the heart and lungs of a race horse
  21. Dogs looking well BS,but you'd find more meat in a tin of beans and sausages, than what those little snouters have got on them
  22. Tarpaulin 5 quid from B&Q,specially designed to protect against puppy drool and biccy crumbs
