  1. We do have gates and hedges over here aswell, it's not all fenland, some of the land I run on is hill farms with loads of wire, hedges and all sorts of obstacles, anyway all the best with the young un's, that pure saluki looked pretty handy aswell

  6. Road walking is the key to a well conditioned dog it's the only real way to strengthen muscles tendons and ligaments which provide the skeletal support, or you could just run the dog and pay the vet bills

Looks well enough to me, but if you are feeding the dry stuff you could try mixing a tin of sardines in tomato sauce in with the food, I add one 2 or 3 times a week, the little value ones from Tesco 34p and crammed in like sardines, puts a bit more condition on a dog and my dogs are over half saluki blooded atb

  20. I remember gary hosker writing about pendle hill years ago in the cmw, reckoned you needed a durable dog for the hares down there
