I've just started my bitch with a few runs on the lamp, she's 19 months old but still very puppyish.I'd rather hold her back than enter her to early.

I was talking to a mate only last week about this last problem,he used to work at WALTHAMSTOW greyhound track. He used to use CORNUCRESINE. The stuff stables use for horses hooves,he reckons it is the dogs bollocks for injuries to the stopper pads.hope this helps.

The only reason i use a red filter is to creep up on the intended quarry be it fox/rabbit because the youngsters round where i am are lamping summer and winter, full moon ,clear nights so everything is lampshy. I BOUIGHT THE FILTER WITH THE INTENTION OF GIVING MY PUP SOME NICE EASY RUNS.But my old bitch soon clicked onto the filter?????. If the dog can see the rabbit using a filter can the rabbit see the dog?.

I use a LAZERLITE myself,gave up on the filters when my old bitch started running rabbits while the filter was on. Anyone else had that happen??.

I've used BENZYL BENZOATE in the past, but only do one side of the dog at a time.
