The Biggest Rat i've caught was 20" long from the tip of it's nose to the tip of it's tail.I've caught many around the 18/19" Mark. I put some pics up on here of them.I don't know if you can still see them though.

Caught another two Yesterday.I was in work until 6 o'clock.Red Dog was up feeding the Poultry and he Phoned to let me Know.He didn't have his Camera on him so no Pics.We have plenty of Rats up the Allotment.We'll do a Bit of Snaring and Trapping over the Next couple of weeks then Have a go with the Dogs and Red Dog's new Smoker.

Thee Rat itself triggers the Snare when it is caught around the Neck and then the Whip lifts the Rat off the Ground.

My old Lurcher Bitch Loves to Go Ratting.I was Ratting with A few mates A few years ago up my Allotments but i had to leave Early,so i left my Mates to carry on.I took my old Bitch home with me,About half a Mile from the Allotments i Left the Bitch off Her lead.She ran Straight Back to The Allotments when i got Back up there She was Ratting with my Mates.Nobody left her in so she Must have Jumped the 6ft Fence to get in.I've got to have a Go at the Rats up there again as they are in Plague Proportions Again.Red Dog was feeding the Ducks the other day and where he Fed the Ducks all he Saw was

I pick my dogs Mess up if i'm walking on Public Roads,if we are in the Fields i Leave it.We have the Same problem where i Live,People picking up their Dogs mess then Hanging it on the Nearest Fence or Tree.They Have done the Hard bit by Picking it up

i second that ,the bull got enouth brain and stamina,with the speed from the greyhound perfect. Where does the Bull put Brain into a Lurcher? I've seen a Few Run but They were no Better Than a Good Collie Cross or Deerhound Cross.I ain't Prejudiced. I appreciate any Good Working Dog irrespective of Breeding.

I hate Shopping in the Larger Supermarkets at the best of times let alone this time year.People standing in the Aisles Talking instead of getting on with their Shopping Pisses me right off.Also I reckon there should be a One Way system.The Wife Doesn't like me Going Shopping with her,She likes to take her time,Me i just want to get it Done and get out of there.Rant over.

My mate Runs a SpanielxLurcher. She does everything.Works Cover/Marks works Well with Ferrets.But she wont Pick up a Running Rabbit.If she Pegs one in Cover it's straight back to Hand.
