    My Two Jills are in Season at the Moment.Both are 6yrs old and have Never Been Mated and will never be Mated.They have Never Lost Condition.The only Thing i Have Noticed is that they Do Moult Earlier than Normal.Their Hutch is Kept Clean And They get the Best Food.Rabbit/Pigeon/Squirrel Etc.In 35yrs of Keeping Ferrets i've only Bred one Litter.

    There used to be a Good Breeding Population on the Farm that i Used to Help out On.However since the Farm is No Longer there and the Land has Been bought by The Neighbouring Farm(The Farmer's Nephew) Lapwings No Longer Nest on the Field where they Used to.However they do Over Winter on the Fields.Last Winter i Saw A Flock of over a Hundred in one Field,One of which was Snow White.

    In my Opinion a Lurcher Has to be Able to Jump Obstacles in the Course of a Days Hunting.A Dog that Pulls up everytime it Encounters a Fence/Wall Etc Will see A lot of Game Getting away Which in Due Course May Cause the Dog to Become Frustrated Which could Lead the Dog to Opening Up.Just My Opinion.

    Get The pup into a Frenzy before you throw the Dummy,so the Pup want's it.When he Picks the Dummy up Squat down and Call the Pup to You.Hopefully the Pup will bring the Dummy to you.Never go to the Pup to Take the Dummy off the Pup.Only do this only Twice and end The GAME on a High with the Pup wanting More.Hopefully the Pup will be More Eager to Bring the Dummy Straight back to you.
