  1. If you don't mind me asking nels0n, how wide is the small basket in your pictures at the widest point?
  2. Not sure about it becoming popular, but I'm sure I've read about one (although slightly basic compared to modern) in a fairly old book. But it wouldn't surprise me that much if someone thought of giving it a crack many years ago. Not sure if it's been recorded though?
  3. Good luck with the vet if it's needed mate.
  4. I feel really gutted for you mate.
  5. That's a odd one. If he was only out and about for ten seconds or so, I wouldn't have thought it was much to do with anything in great outdoors though. If it were my fert, the first thing I would do is get some grub in him. Fingers crossed he's back to his old self soon enough chap.
  6. Spot on offer there mate.
  7. What wood did you use for your hutch looks tidy , slightly off topic mind : )[/quoted ] It might be cedar? But it is lovely digs for the troops.
  8. I use one's called ezi filler (I think), I wouldn't go back to any other type. They don't drip, easy to fill and there fairly robust. Except when a four year old is swinging a spade around like Tiger Woods :-(
  9. f***ing heart breaking ain't it chap.
  10. Never have, never will. But I would like to be there when someone is going to attempt to start pulling teeth.
  11. Congratulations on finding your grail chap. Fingers crossed for the permission.
  12. I really liked it, well done mate. And fair play for taking the time to put it all together for others to watch.
  13. Cheers mate, Hope you're well. Have you been out much? I'm fine thanks mate. I managed to get out a fair bit over the holidays. No big bag's but plenty of laughter and plenty of animal scran to go home with.
  14. Well done gents! Fantastic write up as always NEWKID and I'm glad you all had fun over the crimbo period doing what you enjoy and having fun whilst doing it ;-) P.S spot on photos Mr C. Atvb. Mr Goodcat.
  15. I wish you all the best with the net mate. And as said already, just do it when you feel like it or it might feel like a ball ache. 0.5mm will make quite a hefty net.
  16. It should wrap them up nicely. That twine was part of a sample spool sent to me, dying spun poly is the expensive part of the process as it needs to be heated to high temperature to open the fibres to take the dye. The natural white is much cheaper I've tried a dye before called ipoly (I think), really good on nylon but with the poly it ended up in tears. Especially when the boss found out I was using her stock pot :-))
  17. I'm sure you will catch many in that one mate ;-) I didn't know those twines were available in any other colours than green and brown.
  18. When you get on the hedges, just keep your eyes open and have a little think. I don't reckon it'll take you all that long to get to grips with it. All the best for 2015 norseman.
  19. Fair one chap! That's a fine looking piece of kit :-).
  20. That's ideal for many people NELS0N. As sprockerjay said if you could spread the word when you have it that would be grand. With most people (myself included) if you need a top up, with all the costs involved it's not financially wise just to order a few spools from Germany. So a so a service like this would really help out.
