  9. I wear a dust mask when routing and sanding the sapele and the Iroko they are murder for dust. The Iroko is quite brittle as well. TC I'm always kitted out when sanding ect, but this was the first cut with a chopsaw. The piece was of a decent size admittedly but I'v never had any wood do that to me before,it's like my lungs were allergic to that specific type. Very odd. I know I had a very small splinter of it once, and it sweall up and went pussy within hours. TC That's interesting... When a get a moment I might delve into reading up about the wood.

  11. Nice one mate, they look cracking. Did you find the Iroko irritated your airways? I've only ever used it the once, but I had to wear a dust mask because breathing became a nightmare and I couldn't stop coughing and sneezing.

  20. That's the way my mum n dad are, my little girl stays at my mums at least 2 times a week lol she is hard work and will only behave for my dad. My mum can't visit us these days as she can't leave without her. she would move in with them in a minute lol I'm pretty much in the same boat. My old man was always at work when I was younger, hardly saw him really. Unless we played mother up and when I did see him, it wasn't that much fun! Then I went to work with him when I turned 17 and we have been best mates since.
