  1. Well I am a tree hugger and ex plod but don't see why we should be over run with vermin, wild or human! Was this man not trespassing? Campaigning against the destruction of rabbits on a cricket pitch is ridiculous. I think the friendly local plod is already sick of this man but should be kept up to date with his fantasies.
  2. Yes I went out last night for the second time since Chrimbo. The first time I got 100 yds from the car and the heavens opened, I drew stumps disappointed as had thought it was too windy to rain. Last night I was on a rabbit over run permission that is acres of apple orchard. Saw three jumpy rabbits and missed the only one in range. Not one single rat. Everywhere is saturated so I suppose the vermin has more sense than air-gunners! 1
  3. I understand that mixi is transmitted by fleas, also it does not affect anything but rabbits. Mixi meat is safe for all consumption not that I fancy eating it myself. I used to have a soppy old lab that was as gentle as a lamb. He loved baby rabbits, whole and it didn't change his character at all.
  4. Hi I hail from NE Suffolk. I have had a BSA meteor since 18 yrs old and that was 38 yrs ago. In between I've had several shot guns, a lovely little Belgian pump .22 rim fire and a .22mag/410mag Savage drilling. I gave up the lot bar the BSA when my mobility went. After 20 odd years I can get around a little better so have got hold of an AA400F .22 pcp. I am now re honing my short distance stalking of bunnies, cyrils and about to start on rats.
