    Hi Blakloks. I was just reading your post there and the thing is last year a friend of mine had the same problem he notice his young springer bitch with a limp at first witch he though may have just been a knock she got out with him.He done what any right minded person would have done and layed the bitch up. But as time went bay she only got worse.He took her to the vet here close to us and was told it was a comon thing in spaniels and that it was a facturce (the bone its self ) in the upper part of the leg (shoulder ect)and told him it would cost £800 for an op to fix it.     dont need to, the dog hes on about now he says in his post he picked up last weekend so between fri 1st and sunday 3rd yet his posts say he had a bull/grey whippet pup on the 29th jan and picked the new pup on the 3rd of feb not to mention the whippet he had in the middle of jan Something smells like a dockside hookers flange here The lad is only guilty of posting about having a new dog before he got it, I just spoke to somebody who took the lad lamping on the weekend.     yes lads the suffering of the dog is first and foremost but it's a 16 year old kid use our on about he has to make mistakes before he can learn from them and i bet he wont be so green the next time around weather it's buying or careing for a dog.

    yes jimy1971 sad to see the end but looking forward to next year already .we had some good evening's at duck mainly out of waterholes but most of my shooting this year was at woodcock with some great bags.hope you keep at it lad happy shooting
