The whole litter was stuning & a credit to the breeder, any one who has one will echo what i've said, the lenghts this family have gone to raise this litter in my eyes is beyond the call of duty. Do ya know i ever even noticed the dog eyes till on the way home!

Hello, This one of the pups from the litter, as anyone will know buying a pup is a traumatic affair & on the way to buy this one i was thinking, how have they been cared for etc, are they gonna be in a shit hole with people who haven't got a clue... in this case that couldn't be further from the truth, these pups have been properley raised in a home enviroment. quality through & through.

never lost a dog to illness etc, aint never sold on a dog I have bought - work & breed dogs for long enough tina & i mean work them hard & breed enough & both these things WILL happen as sad as it is. as this is my first time breeding I'm just a bit over protective of them, nothing wrong with that, is there? - I could tell this right from seeing your add , there is nothing wrong with what you're doing, the care that you have obviously put in to the pups is commendable. my advice is stop breeding before you get hurt, unless you become colder than you are now you're gonna be

thank you mr stiff (who are you? p.m me) Also a person can look as nice as pie on the internet & claim to hunt 7 nigts a week but you can't tell shit , once they've taken the pup off you tina they may never walk it again & beat it everytime they have a beer...you just can never tell no matter how much snooping around you do.. they ain't gonna post that they're cruel feckers are they!!!!

that's all in the past for me now tina & i don't really want to talk about it , i watched three die slowly in the vets that month from parvo, he didn't walk it was a turn of phrase, i shot him cos i didn't want him to go through what the others did. People should look at this thread & see how much i've been questioned for asking for a dog. i could understand if they actually had a dog or me but otherwise it's just noseyness.

This is my musket ted , just getting him going now, i picked him up only a couple of weeks ago after he'd been in an aviary so he has been a bit tricky to man but we're getting there slowly. he weighs around 5 ounce.

Thank you witton, if you work dogs regularly you will end up having more dogs than most pet homes, & if you rehome you do the best you can for no profit, i did try get in to breeding borders a bit back but didn't have the stomach for it.

I said i'd used them not owned them, i lost dogs when i split up from my partner & had to live in a bed sit, i have also had dogs put down for various reasons & given a dog to a pet home. i also have a pretty much useless one laid at home that i won't get rid of. god knows why i just spent the time explaining myself to you as i don't know you, it's things like this that stopped me using the forum, it's a shame people have to be clever. hasn't everyone who works dogs had a few dogs? what's strange about the add?

it's personal preference, i have used running dogs of all breeds, i do not want a thinking dog, a thinking dog does not suit me, i want a dog with speed & tenacity. I know there are many good collie cross dogs out there but i prefer dogs with a majority of running dog e.g greyhound/whippet (speed) & perhaps some bull (tenacity) and saluki (endurance). It is probably my fault as a trainer but i have found dogs with collie in at some point to refuse a slip because they have over thought it usually cos quarry is on a fence line, no dog knows what quarry is going to do when pressured on a

Hello, I'm after a lurcher for lamping rabbits, anything considered but must be racey & not have much if any collie blood, i am easy to please, it does not have to retrieve live to hand or jump over the moon , just catch rabbits, any pups considered as well. I do not have much money but am not expecting a free dog.

Took theb little pup coal for his last walk today , not had him a fortnight yet & had to shoot him , i'm a bit upset about it.....in fact no...i'm f*****g seething. The reason i've just had to shoot a 12 week old pup is dodgy jabs bought buy the dogs breeder off a guy off here..... For f**k sake everyone pay the extra £20 and get a vet to do it , at least then you know they've been properly refrigerated.

i love spinning , bit frustrating when theres nothing taking but thats life , i wish i had a scanner here i have a picture of me when i was 16 with a corker of a perch taken on a spinner , one of the biggest i've taken with either worm or spinner.

pups getting on really well , thought he was going to be a bit shy than this to be honest but he ain't becoming a bit of a terror , always having a go at the older dogs :11: you can see them laughing at him :11: . We've been doing a fair bit of moth & fly hunting which he excells at & the dead mouse he found didn't know what hit it :11:

jesus f*****g christ , 3hrs 20 down to collect & f****n 6 1/2 hrs home , good as gold he was though & we had some fun hunting moths & dead mice when we got back :11: we're gonna get on just fine......famous last words :11: hope this is making sense bit pissed & someones switched all the keys rpound on this board :11:

how very very sad, i am truly sorry for your family friends loss, i feel i have been lax with my son and our 'house' dog , you trust them so implicitly it becomes almost impossible that they would do such a thing but they are animals after all...it is easy to forget this.....

Article in the times today basically saying the league are planning to sell off nature reserves they own so they can buy up coast line & moor land so they can then keep the shooting rights & sell the land back off minus the rights. nob heads.
