Just thought i'd put a post up about my pup flick as i bought her from this forum, she's now 7 month, she's so far , soft mouthed and a natural carrier, she's a naughty head strong sly theif of a dog but very endearing. I've been trying to hold her back but she caught her first bunny 2 weeks ish ago & has now accounted for 5 (none were full grown) whilst out & about. She's a clever bitch & i'm very pleased with her. for those that haven't seen her before here she is, she's 1/8 bull 1/16the collie & the rest is whippet & greyhound, her dad is dave sleights boy blue not

right o, appreciate the replys people. i can't leave a pup till 15 week it's too long & risky as there are other dogs here that go out of day & could be walking anyting in to the house. What i've just read is pretty much how i understood it BUT if the pup is not with the bitch i.e she's been sold at 6 week is she still carrying that immunity or does it need to be feeding from her?

I know pups should be jabbed at 8 weeks but has anyone done it younger? any good medical reasons not to?

this one's a winger too jigsaw & i have my theory as to why, she will make a good un that's for sure, if i wanted her for big stuff if it was still legal i may be worried about her drive but i just want a rabbiting/ratting dog. She is bred from (not that a name matters) dave slieghts boy blue & is 1/16th collie for them that asked, the rest is made up of greyhound & whippet with a 1/8 bull.

Thanks everyone, is she easy to handle? she's full of herself, she is a pain in the arse compaired to even my spaniel, she's also noisey & a bloody theif! She doesn't have that much drive for game than others i've had BUT yesterday saw her joining in on ragging the rats & it was her first outing so i'm happy for now, on a plus side because she is very enthusiastic & people orientated she is easy to train. She has probably been one of the biggest pain in the arse pups i've had but it's quite endearing if you get my drift.

I'm after pigeons of and description but i'm really after black ones, anyone know of any? I bred a black line a while back & gave em to me dad, rang him for some back & they'd got at some rat poison..all dead.

From the plans on here they're pretty big traps, as long as the basics were there i.e gap they go through stays the same would it work smaller? say 4x4ft? Also is there a point i'm missing to the sloping roof? would a flat roof with same ladder set up work?

I lost one today too but i'm sure it won't be for long, they will still be where your kids left them, they'll turn up as ditch shiter said they can't physically fly off, if they were near any houses/farms go give them your mobile no.

I've always liked mearles but not wanting a collie cross didn't own one till now, the breeding is i more or less all whippet & greyhound with 1/8 bull & 1/16th collie so yep she should be fast, if you read my first post asking for a dog it's just what i was looking for. So far i've short listed flick,fleck, mottle & pepper. Another pic to help yer all!

don't know what to name it? my little lad wants to call it poppy but i don't like names that end in ie or y. Any suggestions?

It was a hard decision , they were all the same sort of stamp. There's a white bitch that's gonna be a murderous little cow & real nice blue mearle dog that ain't gonna be taking prisoners!
