    do people still do this i was reading a few books (old ones) they all mentioned ratting and that feeding rats helps with there immune system also whats needed to go ferreting i have a cocker lab cross who goes mad for rats is one dog enough?

    i,m looking ether a lurcher or a whippet and wanted to know what the best cross for a lurcher is for rabbits/foxs (live in northern Ireland so hunting foxes is legal with lurchers) i was considering ether a collie or deer-hound cross and a bull cross is out of the question as i don't like them. also i do a bit of ferreting so it would be out with me for that as well. any info of what to go for would be appreciated

    (found it helpful especially the bit regarding clonmel) any way i got ferrets at the start of this season after shooting for ages at the start i was unsure about them but have to say was the best thing i ever got had many enjoyable days with them so far and seems to be another soon to be life long passion..... any way thats a we bit about my self all the best
