Not that keep pheasant I live on one and I can't think of any any way will ask a few friends I think 1 might be able to sort me out or send me on the right path another question what would be a reasonable for them is it cheaper to buy the eggs and rear under hens or but poults at 12 weeks or whatever age u buy them ??

I have been invited down with a few friends I enjoy the chase but is it all just running dogs or is there other stuff at it sounds stupid but for 25 euro in I don't want to go to be bored and want to go home half way through lol

I use half a dozen crow fuds I although adding the dead ones to the mix I have had days of shooting 90+ over them and that's only what's shot and there for proof there's maby anouther 40+ that fly off and anouther 30 that I don't shoot at that was from first light to about half 11 when things died off so I went home

Wouldn't mind trying to do one of the wood cock myself but I'm looking to know how to dry out the skins I no about salt Pete ( outlaw Pete?? ) has mentioned that you could use some other thing but would have to keep it dry if I did use it would I be able to keep them in sealable bags??

Am wondering where to post a topic about using materials I get from shooting for fly tying I want to know how to prepare the skins of rabbits / hares also how to treat capes of pheasants woodcock snipe etc

Bitch wippet collie bull 13months was given it as it won't do fox on its own it was also barkin n whinen when chasing rabbits but thats sorted now she's 23 tts nice size lovely temperment was quite sharp at start with the other dogs still needs a lot of work though to get her into shape / fittened up before the season comes round again all being well there's a lot of potential

Its nt the dogs its the price tag I dint understand in my head can't justify the price they are asking that's more my point its ridiculuss but its the people paying for them that's keeping the price so high

I no of a few real good spots nt sayin where but went out on friday past and had 15+ runs between 2 dogs and walkin away with 11 rabbits and a fox was a good nigh

Went out at weekend got 2 in 2 runs missed the other 5 in the field but couldn't help that lol best part is my mate with a far more experianced dog refused to run his dog a week before on same field and very similay conditions

Got bitch tonight she's a lovely ball off fat with a lot of potential she's about 13/14 months and she's not a collie grey by the looks of her she's collie bull whipet grey donno what the percentages are but a nice we bitch walking well seems livestalk broke but not taking any chances just yet lol pics to follow and keep up to date with progress
