gypsy's not had the pups yet then? she 's due any day now and was nt suzie or was it fly mated to dodger earlier this week or did you forget about these pending litters? Y.I.S Leeview Gypsy hasn`t had any pups - phantom pregancy- Amazing that all you experts reckoned I had a litter here Fly was mated to Dodger on Mon, is that a crime. I have plenty of people waiting for a pup from this breeding You need to get a life leeview and look at what you do yourself instead of criticising others all the time. Am I the new public enemy no 1 in place of Mike , laughable Always -

pest Control in the Dales
blackwhippet replied to Chickens4ever05's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
How on earth "dont your whippets run anywhere near as hard a we do in winter" and it takes 2 of them to catch a young rabbit do you miss many this way through bolting while your dogs are after the same rabbit? Or do they bolt differently in summer as opposed to winter? Id be carrying the electrolytes with me not waiting till they get back to the car Y.I.S Leeview We choosenot to run the whippets as hard in the summer, i.e we don`t stay out as long and do a lot early morning before the sun gets out - if the dogs start to get too warm we pack up You should know what the crack is you re -
pest Control in the Dales
blackwhippet replied to Chickens4ever05's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Im up there weekly Dell and at present the ground is far from spongey the sphagnum moss is dried and deep cracks are appearing in what used to be like walking across a waterbed it was that spongey, not hard to get big bags due to the numbers of rabbits up there but exerting dogs to several runs in the current heatwave shows little respect for the dogs and ferrets Y.I.S Leeview You do it your way Leeview , we do it ours , as for lack of respect for the dogs and ferrets that`s bollocks, these dogs have the desire and stamina to do it, we don`t run them anywhere near as hard as we do in -
pest Control in the Dales

We have to go all year round to keep the permission , simple as that. We get youngsters this time of the year , but if left the does will be having their own litter of young within a few months. It`s easier and more enjoyable in autumn and winter , but the rabbit is a real pest on these dales farms and has to be controlled .Like Tom says we get very few problems with injuries , this ground is ideal for a good working whippet -

I`ve been running my Fourtrak on veg oil/diesel mix for about 10months now with no probs. Only thing you will need to do is change your fuel filter after a couple of hundred miles of running with the veg mix. THe veg oil will clean out your fuel system , but will deposit all the shite in your fuel filter . If you have an aisan type cash and carry near you they will sell 20litre drums of it . I pay around £15 which works out at 75p a litre. I find my trak runs better on the veg mix , around 60/40 diesel to veg in winter otherwise you`ll find starting really hard , but in summer I ran at about

Yes, would like to know that too, thanks. Most of the people voting won`t own a whippet bred by Mike at all, or come to think of it any whippet so I wouldn`t worry about results of a poll on this or other sites. Go off what real dogmen say on the whippet sites not the wind-up merchants on here
