  1. so what about a saluki x galgo ? ever saw one ? i reckon from what ive heard a good galgo bitch would be good with a top coursing lurcher id definatley like to try breeding some if i had access to a good bitch one thats probly retired would be ideal
  2. how big are spaniols , and how long would thery be able to run for say after a hare ? would they be equal to saluki for endurance and speed or less endurance and more speed
  3. i got a 4month old pup out of casper x greyhound , not quite 1st cross but damn close shes got a thick coat ,and a mohican! hair runs wrong way from shoulder blades to top of head i see if i can get a pic of the wee fecker , cos she wont stand still
  4. maybe for some , but for me its the coursing , i just like to watch good dogs run , its a pleasure cos really good coursing dogs are few and far between ive been down the fens the past few times to watch wolfie run as my own 2 are injured , and its a 3 hour drive there and 3 hours back but it doesent bother me cos i know im going to see a really class dog run but its even better to watch your own dog run well
  5. i think its how much you value coursing not the dog itself , and it depends on how well you want to do , so if you want to be in with the big boys and match all the time and you aint got a dog , then it cost a lot to be in with the best , and if its really good then you probly win it back and then some buy a well bred pup say £500 and then all the time spent feeding and training it , how much does the dog stand you to in the end up at say 2 years old ? , quite a lot and if its good or bad it still costs ther same so it stands to reason to give a couple of grand for a good dog , id person
  6. well what if you insulated it , put some 50mm or thicker kingspan/cellutex board down , then put ply board over for strength for the floor line the walls too and same thing again , kingspan on the walls and cover with ply and to top it iff add in a heat lamp leave on for an hour or so at night to warm it up and insulation should hold the heat in
  7. Sorry to hear about your dogs and hope you have the joy of getting them back home. These people really are the scum of the earth! any way good luck again what is scum of earth travlers or dog thieves ?
  8. Ok gotta thank Strong Stuff tons , cos ive just recieved my new collar today for my bull terrier , and some slip leads for the mongrels , i can honestly say the slip leads are 1st class and the collar is the best and strongest ive ever had or saw definatley a bargain because of the quality im definatley gonna be ordering more gear from him in the near future just so you know a mate offered me double what i paid for the collar , but no way was i parting with it

  13. probly never ever be one as good as foxy out of any ones dogs , but then CN is a fantastic stocksman , he always get best out of any animal he owns , so all depends on whether someone whos as good a stocksman gets a potential like foxy to start with , and there arent as many as good as CN just a small handfull of them about get your nose out of his arse dony worry mate its fine where it is
  14. yeah your right , but i can hold my hands up and plead guilty to that and if were all honest we all have , especially when your young and mad mad keen and impatient but you learn by your mistakes , its all part of the learning process and what works for you but ive lost a couple of fantastic potentials due to really bad luck , but thats coursing i suppose , you gotta take the rough with the smooth
