    hello allrounder i got offered an apprentiship with a plasterer but i didnt really like him, we got on but i didnt like him... im allowed to trial in the holidays if i like it ill take apprentice if not ill do full time plastering, but a plastering firms just laid off 70 plasterers due to no work so its not looking good for plasterers at the moment.

    hello thanks for the sugestion, the farm is in an awkward place where no public travel goes so i would have to buy a motorbike, so would cost me quite abit just to go on a weekend, i will be talking with him tomorrow so ill discuss everything possible

    lol didnt work out to well then, what iv tried explaining is its basically farming or plastering, plasterings good money, but for how long?? its all about supply and demand the prices for plasterings falling year by year meaning plasterers have to work harder and harder so basically, i wouldnt mind a country job such as farming and iv been given the chance. but.. after my apprentiship will i be a farm hand or actually have a role to fill hmm lol

    hello, we did a deer skin ages ago it took ages, but if you cover the flesh side with salt then cover it in news paper, then press it with some heavy books on the top iv been told it will take 2 weeks but i havnt tried and tested the method

    cheers lads, just gave the woman a ring got to ring back in a hour sounds ok, and not a dick lol... i couldnt stand an office job and ill be on alot more than a tenner a day mate as its an apprentiship, a week is the minimum legally id go into keepering or something but i dont want to move from home, and i live in s/yorkshire. i no the apprentiship will be shit, its what comes after that really matters

    Hello iv been offered an apprentiship on a farm, but im from a construction family and i want to know abit more about farming, i know the moneys crap but what does an apprentice usually do is it entertaining and different every day, or will i be sorting egg sizes all day iv also got the chance to do a second year in plastering , but its donkeywork and not what i want to be doing.... my heads in peices trying to work out what to do... so please if any farmers are reading, do you like your job, and what prospects does an apprentice look to once hes finished the apprentiship? i

    Well done stork havnt seen you at our place for a while. glad to see you got your dream job, im only 17 at mo so wondering if i should be a plasterer or go into agriculture of some sort before i start getting debts and kids lol. Really glad you got the job,

    mines a pup well 1 yr old and can get back to me no problem, but she goes that far out i think some times she just runs around till she finds me, i give the odd toot on the whistle so she can find me.

    i want a cocker spaniel to acompany my lurcher, for bushing.. they arnt as curious george (with fox sets etc) as a terrier. just a suggestion my mate works his lurchers with a cocker bushing, great team

    Just a suggestion, lurcher link are always open to donations, dont follow their progress much but know theyre a good charity doing good things for lurchers... unless you want a charity for humans like cancer research?

    Hello heres my bedxwhip, not sure on the fractions but shes got everything i want in a rabbit dog, although shes got more that 1/4 beddy so she has the ignorance of a beddy at the best of times.
