  1. cheers guys looks like a hw100 or a air arms s410 then, would like to hear some comments on the air arms . secretajentmole have been to redbeck a couple of times great set of lads there great prices very helpful so will definitely will be purchasing from there . will have a shoot with both and then decide shergar
  2. aye up guys looking for my first pcp but don't know which one to go for , i usually shoot powder burners .22lr and shot guns . i fancy a bsa r10 also the daystate huntsman and the weihrauch hw 100 but it's on the heavy side also like the air arms s410 . my friend has a ultra se, only had a few months and the mag started jamming took it back and got a new mag , and now it's pissed all it's air out ,so looks like another trip back to the shop just wondered what bsa's are like on quality and reliability , to be honest it's put me off them just after some feedback on the above
  3. a friend of mine has a bsa ultra se , don't know if it's the same mag but he had problems with it jamming , took back to the shop and they replaced it no problem, thinking of getting an ultra for myself just wondered if any one else has had problems with em. boogty
  4. aye up bunnybuster liking the shark teeth on your rifle looks great shergar
  5. aye up daz thanks for the offer of getting me some sk's , going to ring my local shop to see if he has any in stock , if not i will let you know. thanks again shergar
  6. cheers for that Daz next time i am out that way i will call in use to get my sk's from the shop in harrogate but the last few times i have been in he had none so gone back to Winchesters , what do you pay per box , i pay £5.50/box Winchesters £6 for sk , i had a trip to red beck last week looking at some pcp air guns so while i was there bought some whinnies at £4.10 box just a bit far to go just for ammo, i too don't find sk to be dirty i find with whinnies you have to clean around the breach every so often so they don't jam. thanks shergar
  7. aye up rat destroyer just watched your video , nice bit of shooting there , i see you don't get much what i call flash back from the smoke that exits the barrel , when i use Winchesters with my night vision unit i get a white out on my screen when i pull the trigger only for just a split second , maybe one good reason to go back to sk. where a bouts do you source your sk's from? i am from York area cheers shergar
  8. aye up looks just like a old hammer gun i used to own , mine had the makers name knight , got rid of mine because it was deemed unsafe to use and needed the room in my cabinet for a new gun , what do the barrels look like shergar
  9. no dowt the sk can stop rabbits just find Winchesters have slightly more whack if you know what i mean , also do you find the lubricant on them a bit sticky rubs off on yer fingers , i dropped some loading once and all the grit and dirt sticks to em like s##t to a blanket, but still are the most accurate ammo i have used but the shop i use don't stock em , will try a box of eley see how they perform shergar
  10. aye up best ones for accuracy i have tried are lapua sk brand hollow point but don't seem to stop rabbits like Winchester subs with a larger hollow point ,when a bunny goes down it stays down but yes they are a bit dirty , not yet tried eley subs but will give em a go. shergar
  11. aye up start off with a .22 LR cz and you can't go wrong i also own a cz455 .22 16" varmint barrel th stock only gripe i have is with the bi pod on it's a bit heavy but is very accurate ,i have no intention of swapping barrels seems too much hassle if i want a different calibre i will get another rifle . shergar
  12. My first fac I had through the post one week after a visit from the feo . I think it just depends on what force are dealing with your request and how busy they are.
  13. aye up i would try some sk rounds made by lapua they don't hit as hard as Winchesters but are bloody accurate 001 by shergar3, on Flickr here is a group with Winchesters 002 by shergar3, on Flickr both at 50 metres CZ 455 varmint 16" struggling to get hold of lapuas so using Winchesters at the moment just try different brands and stick to what works best shergar
  14. aye up like the lads say stick to subs i also use sk lapua subs there the most accurate and constant ammo i have tried in my cz455 at 50yrds getting clover leaf grouping , try different ones and stick to what works best in your gun shergar
  15. aye up guys these sk lapua sub sonic hollow point bullets definitely out shoot Winchesters subs in my cz 455 with clover leaf groupings at 50 metres not getting any where near that with Winchesters , have not tried eleys yet but had no trouble stopping rabbits , and with the increase in accuracy my hit rate has gone up thanks shergar
  16. have bought some to try , the guy in the shop said they were better than Winchester subs and if not bring the rest back , not had chance to test yet , will keep you posted thanks shergar
  17. aye up guys any one using or tried sk lapua .22 lr ammo ? regards shergar
  18. where would you buy one from ? ebay or an other source shergar
