Take a visit to the air arms owners club, all your questions will be answered there. http://www.airarmsownersclub.com I done a 120 shot string the other night over the chrono, the shots at 190 bar are 10.43 ft lbs while at 130 bar the power has risen to 11.70 ft lbs. This is with AA field, an S410k in .22 flavour.

Pressing The Idiot Button Again
Danny Fireblade replied to bugg's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
With a full air reservoir my POI is about 3/4" lower than when my rifle is at 125 bar where it's dead on. With 190 bar I'm at 10.43lb ft while at 125 bar I'm at 11.70 lb ft. S410k, .22 and AA field. -
Best Shotgun For Around £500
Danny Fireblade replied to JDE's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I managed to pick up a 20 year old beretta A303 for £270. The stock was a bit marked but it's a rough shooting gun so more than likely I will end up marking it more. Put over 500 carts through it so far and it has not missed a beat, unlike my shooting, which I've missed loads:-) Get quality and don't worry about looks, could be a good project if your that worried? -
Wanted an iPad 1 or 2 for the mother in law. Wants to be like a budgie, as in cheap cheap cheap:-) Cheers

Pics, oops -
Unfortunately this happens to us all at some point, sometimes through misjudgement of distance and sometimes through external factors but I would like to think that anyone on here, or any other site for that matter, does not just shoot to wound at any time. I must admit sometimes I've had a shot lined up for ages but never taken it because something just didn't feel right? Couldn't put my finger on it at the time either? The quarry will always be around again at some time:-) It may all be different if I was hunting to survive and not for sport? That's another debate altogether though, lol.

Bad Batch Of Eley Subs?
Danny Fireblade replied to riflehunter583's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I must say my rifle has had some flyers with Eley subs, thought it was me but i can usually feel a pulled shot before it hits the target. I had heard so many good things about them that it had me doubting myself. Glad to see its not just me,lol. -
Superb bit of kit, I've had mine nearly 10 years now, not saying anything else isn't as good or better but I won't never get rid of mine.
-
I have both, each has their place for both the same and different things. Neither is better than the other, just using them correctly in the right situation is important. It's the person behind them that matters more than what they are holding. Get both and I'm sure depending on what your doing will dictate what you pick up, I often take both and swap and change during my sessions. Hope that helps?

Fac Holder-Sgc Application
Danny Fireblade replied to Danny Fireblade's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Many thanks guys, looks like I had better find a couple of referees then, lol. On a separate note now, how do I go about trying to explain to the wife for the need for a shotgun, as well as a .22, and possibly a .17hmr? Lol. -
I currently have an FAC but am thinking about applying for a SGC too (just a .22 rimmy on it at the moment). My land has plenty of fields (over 150 acres & a 150 acre golf course that I am cleared on for both) so have reason to hold & use. So would I send back my FAC with my application? Can I also apply for a .17hmr slot at the same time? Anything in particular I should/shouldn't do? Thanks in advance

My permission has 150 acres of crop fields, the farmer has planted oats & barley for his pig farm and even though his fields are still bare there are flocks and flocks of pigeon & crow. I am more of a rabbit shooter with both .22 rimfire and air rifle, my experience of pigeon shooting with decoy's is zero however they don't like my air rifle when they are sat in the trees, lol. I have got permission to decoy on the fields at anytime I wish but that is where some lucky person comes in:-) this permission to me is a gold mine for what I enjoy and as such the person who comes with me wil

Harris Bipod Spare Parts
Danny Fireblade replied to Danny Fireblade's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Oh there are a few perfectly good and useable ones in there Rob but I like to help people out & it isn't all about money. Thanks anyway though for the suggestion:-) -
Managed another few hours this morning, have posted an offer of pigeon shooting in the pigeon section if anyone is interested?

I have a few Harris bipods in various states of repair, as the pic shows. If anyone needs a spare part then just let me know in as much detail as possible and ill do my best to dismantle it & send it to you. Once I've got it ill let you know then ill post when I can get to the post office. Please don't ask for a piece a week to build a complete one, lol. No charge for any piece or postage, all I ask if once you get the part & your happy, the next time you pass someone collecting for an armed forces charity you chuck summit in:-)
