A couple of pictures may assist, especially showing the custom stock.

Hi, Ref the 98, when you say the previous owner '' fettled '' it, what exactly has been done and what details do you have re the scope. Thanks
-
Hi, Do you happen to have any pics. Ta. PM sent.
-
As said, just something i owned in the ' day ', would be nice to have one again. If not these then a HW77K (25mm) would also be nice to have.... but again, mint. Merry xmas.

Hi, Can i ask, you say it is tuned, what stage has it been done to and by whom. Also does the rifle come with the scope in the picture. Also is this a Hull Carrtridge gun. Thanks
-
Actually on the shorter barrel it does not look too bad, how quiet the rifle is, is not so much of an issue, i will only be using it for general plinking etc, not hunting. I do still like the look of it though, i could not find a link on the web page it was on, i would have contacted the owner to find out where they got it from. Thanks for the info.

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff108/kennyontario/hw95k011.jpg I found this whilst looking into the rifle..... looks a lot better than the standard silencer.... any ideas ?
-
Ok then, if the '' older '' ones are better, just how old would i need to go to get one, when did the ' new ' ones come on line ?
-
I did not know the reasons but i also read that the steel used in the older guns was better.... not sure about this one though.
-
Looking at an older 97k (the one without the full fish scales etc), and just wondering if the older models are some how better than the newer ones which i have heard can have QA issues,
-
They seek him here.... they seek him there, those frenchies seek him everywhere......That damned elusive Pimpernel!
-
Can i confirm its the RH version and not LH ?
-
How odd that the scum can seem to rind all manner of ways to ' con ' your average shooter.... nice spot by the way and thanks for the heads up before i got too interested.
