My wife’s nephew , 21 fit as a flea , superb swimmer , had been out with the university cave diving club and when they came up they had a swim in the loch to clean off , he swam right across , halfway back he disappeared .Cold water shock was reckoned to be the cause . Sadly youngster drowning is a major worry over here , we have had one already this month , people coming on holiday don’t realise the danger of swimming pools , it’s not a problem when the whole family are out by the pool it’s the one second it takes for a toddler to wander outside in a lapse of concentration , answering t -

I’ve just bought one , one owner ,low mileage , full Toyota history , it’s been in storage for the last five years and done just 80miles backwards and forwards to the testing station and servicing ..absolute minter . There was an 95 , 3 diff lock , manual 80series just sold in the states with a thousand miles on the clock from new for $134000 … edited to add my brother quite likes them , mines the silver one , the other four are his ..?

My brothers 4.2 landcruiser Amazon has 400,000 miles on , it’s used most days , starts before you finish turning the key , tows a three ton digger on a one and a half ton plant trailer up stupidly steep hills without a puff of smoke ..there’s not much built today that will out live an old landcruiser ..

I’ve just recently returned to carp fishing after thirty odd years of barely wetting a line ( save for a couple of jaunts to the Ebro) , and to walk into a tackle shop and see where carp fishing had moved onto was staggering , I’ve never seen anything like it , carp fishing had gone from a pastime to a bloody science ! Where I went in to sort some line , hooks etc , I was still going to use my thirty year old rods , the sight of a million types of hook , every type of line from normal to braid to coated braid to shitcovered fast sinking stick up a fishes arse braid was to much , the two young

I’ve shot around there for many years , in fact one of my permissions backed onto Sheffield Park , I wouldn’t bother buying anything , the place is running with deer and on a small plot a bit of time & observation will be all you need .If it’s anything like mine you can see as easily as anything where they are walking out and what time ..if I was shooting my place , which like yours was only small , I’d be in one of the two seats at least an hour and a half before dark , and just wait it out . Found this one in the pool at the apartment , it belonged to next door .It could only have fell of the roof onto the grass , how it survived the fall I don’t know , it couldn’t have fallen into the pool . I don’t think they live in salt water .. get some strange things in the pools out here mate , my neighbour found a dead wild boar a couple of years back ...

I get that Wilf , but he’s exactly the same , if not worse , he was at the for front of policy ideas , he was the gangmaster that bullied and sidetracked any opposition and kept everyone in check .Don’t get me wrong , I do believe what he’s saying but he’s the sort that during the war would point out his Jewish neighbours to save himself ..If at the time he had resigned his job I’d listen , he’s only suddenly got a conscience because he’s got vindictive .He couldn’t care less about anyone let alone the average British bloke .
