If every a man sold his country out for his own end, both political & financial,it is him ,aided and abeted by his cohorts, mandy ,brown, straw, milly.and the rest of new fuc.ing labour My only crumb of comfort is he wakes up every morning next to the uglyist pig face woman god ever put breath into...fancy looking at that mug every morning ,i bet he gets her to look at the milk and curdle it for the yoghurt. ..............New labour my arse.....new tory ,they all had private education, went to uni, Free ,then bunged tuition fees on all the poor sods that come after..thanks tony have an award

Window cleaning kit is for windows mate, use gun cleaningkit on guns will save any hassle .cheers
-
pete if they were ment to use full of shit they would send them out of the factory already dirty ,the wd40 i use on the alloy mod to stop condensation which there prone to,like any precision piece of machinary,( because at the end of the day thats what they are), works better lasts longer if its kept clean ,the rifle dos'nt need lubrication down the barrel at all .Finish cleaning useing dry clean mop....Wd will get rid of moisture on outside of gun But proprietry cleaners are better in my view .cheers
-
WD40 wont remove the copper deposit from the rifling ,i use i montana copper killer, push through on triple twill patches, just a couple of drops on a patch push a couple through leave for 10 min then push a few more through, the you will see the patches come out dirty ,once they come clean i push half a dozen dry ones through.when clean & dry i run a clean mop through, you dont mention a mod ,i spray wd down the mod to sort out moisture but use a carbon spray to clean it . When your gun came out of the factory it came with a clean barrel so cleaning it should not require you to" settle it".I

Had other waterproof gloves but just sweat up all the time, my hands were uncomfortably hot.Really pleased with these.

Been sitting here with a mate who dos'nt stalk ,and he was looking at some pics of a buck i shot today and he remarked how usefull the quad was, this got me thinking what apart from gun/scope were the 3 bits of kit i could not do without.... 1..swaro binos.......if you cant see them you cant shoot them, crystal clear ,great in low light. 2..The quad...........on my own i just could not get some out, 3..Tri sticks...........new this year they give a fantastic solid rest ,take a bit of getting used to but rock solid. Reserve..............sealskinz shooting gloves.......brilliant....do

After blanking my last five outings in the snow and cancelling yesterdays early morning stalk because it was tipping down(its not fun to get soaked anymore) I was up at six ,quick coffee, motor already loaded from yesterday it was just gun & dog for the five minute drive to a local farm were i do the deer control, its only 100acre but next to a 55acre wood which i also look after. With another 35 acres the far side of the wood its just short of two hundred acres. I have not been there since the snow but felt the deer would be out of the wood now things have thawed out. There are three fields

Sounds a nice day art, good luck with your last few outings ...i had a quick look round a small farm i do the deer control for this morning (mon) and had a buck on the quad and back to the truck within 20 min ..just the way it goes sometimes. My last 5 outings in the snow have all drawn a blank..but with the thaw i fancied they would be on the clover and they were..good luck

I am fortunate to have a small murder of haggis on one of the estates i look after ,its a fairly rugged piece of land for sussex with some heather clad hills (not up to scottish standard ) with plenty of water ,especially this year year with a plentifull supply of stovies which my wife tells me is why they appear to be thriving( she is from that manor) away from there traditional highland home. Which is why this year instead of importing one from our usual butcher Dingwalls of Cupar i decided to harvest one of our own sussex bred haggis. My plan to do an early morning recce ,locate a suitable

I think if you improve the habitat that makes it a different case compleatlly to puting out piles of food to draw deer in to one spot to shoot them .Planting cover & grazing not only benifits the deer but every thing else.As mattydski said time on the ground looking & learning is the way forward.Know what you have on there before taking them off ,having shot three hinds already i would be cautious about shooting more till i knew more ! If all three were lined you have doubled up .good luck

What they like of road ? Would struggle to strap a couple of carcasses on that bike but if you did it looks like you could get them to the chiller P D Q........they look the dogs !

Hi mate .....7m rem mag.....you aint under gunned !! That would drop everything that ever lived on your island .....With regards to the stags , where im at the bucks tend to disapear after the rut to recharge there batteries ,i sometimes see a bunch together but they are a lot less visable ,i think the deer would eat the grain ,and like most animals a regular supply of free food will get them coming in ,probable stags as well..BUT is that stalking or just deer shooting ? .....I can see putting out feed in hard times to help the deer but not just to make it easy to shoot them .a proper culling

What's The Best Rimfire For Rabbits And F0Xs
sussex replied to d.nelson's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I think if you want a rimfire for rabbit & fox Providing you dont try hitting them at silly ranges the .22 would be my choice. if you hit them (foxes) front box with a .22hv it will kill them, they are cheap to buy, cheap to run. Put a decent scope on whatever you buy it will pay dividends Good luck -
Rob i'm culling does primarilly but if i get a buck i will put it in chiller head on for you.It will not be anything with a good head it will only be a cull animal ,if that is ok your welcome to it,it would only be discarded otherwise.Pity, i had a fairly big buck a couple of weeks ago that had been in a R T A that i got called out to put down.If any thing comes up that route again your welcome to it.If you leave a contact on the pm i'l give you a call or contact you through pm .Cheers
-
Hi rob , do you just want any head to practice on ? if so i'm out tomorrow(sunday) and culling mon to thur ,i will definatly have some does , if you want just any head. I notice your down my way, you are welcome to come down & take it of yourself with what ever skin you need.send me your details on that message board thing !Cheers hope it helps

HI Art we would have a problem finding suitable trees, whilst there are plenty of them finding one in the right place that was useable would be almost impossible.I have about 20 high seats scattered about on various estates that when you put out, have to have a prune up of the lower limbs to give a decent shooting window. Some of the guys over here probably fair better, but where i'm at just dont seem to get straight tall high limbed trees.I do have a couple of lightweight portable seats that come in usefull from time to time, but still need a pruning saw in the kit.Every year its a long job go

welcome to the hunting life...
-
Art,mine does, it is , she has .....!! Ps the new one is more understanding .....i like the warm weather fishing idea .
-
Got you ,like a light weight mobile high seat, seen them on cabbellas site, that is the mother of hunting/fishing shops ! we do a bit better season wise, the fallow are in nine months of the year in total ,& when the fallow bucks finish the roe buck are in ,so if your lucky & have both you can stalk all year, rabbit squirrel, fox are classed as vermin & taken all year.Hope you finish with a good buck.
