I use a Teckel for flushing, he is to stubborn to go and find them after they have been shot but we haven't missed a dead bird yet.

Its on the outside edge of the wing, about 1fith of the way down the outside, its only little but it does look a little out of place with the bi ones bellow it.

Got my first two woodcocks a week ago, well chuffed especially since one was with the left and the other the right. Its an awesome feeling make sure you keep your pin feathers safe. If you want to keep them together put about an inch of another bigger feather (i used a pheasant) and push the two pin feathers in to the soft pithy bit. Should hold fine but some glue can help.

Hello Im after a couple of Deer Antlers, doesn't matter on the species or size (bigger the better) for use in crafts. This year has been a bad one for me and i haven't been out much getting a few of my own. Also looking for the skull or just the fangs from a Chinese water deer. Happy to pay for any expenses Josh

Hello I'm looking for a few tails and a couple of wings to harvest some feather from. Species doesn't matter (pheasant, woodcock .etc). For use in Crafts and hat decoration for historical re enactments. Also looking for deer antler that may be going to waste (was going to ask over on the deer section of the forum but thought id drop a line here) Happy to pay an expenses getting them to West Yorkshire.
