very good point mate they are but unheard of old school staffs but pound for pound the pitbull terrier is the best thats why IMO i would choose to cross this dog with the greyhound. i no of gamepit dogs that are 28lbs.

Not a very good analogy. An Irish Wolfhound or Deerhound has a much bigger stride and is taller, but I'd bet a Whippet is faster ! Cheers. point take'n mate but what i'm saying is surely if the wippet where bigger it would be of a similar speed would it not i mean the wippet was taking 2 strides to the saluki's 1 stride? obviously through years of consentrated breeding the wippet was bred to be small for rabbits. but the irish wolf hound or deerhound are not built for speed are they? i thort they where bred for endurance and stamina in order to catch bigger game, please correct me if

So in the first post your saying you're a bit of a novice, then in your next your saying the APBT and bull/greyhound make the ultimate x.........being in your own words "a novice" how would you KNOW what the ultimate x is ??? I was thinking that myself mate lol i am a novice but i no common knowledge. statistics say why use the staff or ebt or a beddlington terrier in with the bullgreyhound i'm just posting my opinion you can agree to disagree. just trying to make a decent thread and see your guys view's to.

true dog men search for gameness which is what i'd want in my bullgreyhound if i was running one would you agree

curtis i got to add this to your argument but not all pits are suitable for lurcher production,i would also like to ask you what is the difference between a apbt and a genuine working stafford ie what other breeds are used in there make up to make them different,i can add this i know the difference in the majority of the two breeds when it comes to structure or build but that is the majority not all. Hi thanks for your reply. Yes i see your point, they are several breeds claiming to be pit bulls. Staffordshire Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Pit Bull terriers, American

looks great untill he chews F*** out of it lol

surely the saluki has a much bigger stride and is taller would that not make the dog faster? in that video that seems to be the case.
-
there putting the apbt over the greyhound for every attribute wind/stamina/gameness/mouth/heart/determanation/athleticism you name it the pitbull terrier brings every attribute to the bullgreyhound if you have a real bullgreyhound there is no need for the bedlington terrier or any other dog to be in there for certain quary.
-
ok mate how are you so sure? because you no the greyhound has wind trust me the pitbull terrier runs right along side the greyhound for wind. this dog here is the foundation for my bullterriers. he is in almost all of my dogs pedigree's. http://tom-garner-kennels.com/Chinaman.shtml

Hi sorry yes i am a novice in the lurchers but not in bull terriers especially the pitbull terrier. and the bullgreyhound was always crossed with the pitbull terrier for its courage and its athleticism and amazing ability for wind and stamina. i no of pitbull terriers that have had the wind of top running greyhounds so surely that would be the bet i just wasnt sure on why a bedlington terrier would be threw into the mix. nor was i sure that english bulls where bred also i was just wondering what trate these fetch'd to the cross. Greyhounds are not renowned for stamina, they're sprinters.

what makes you so sure? yes they are a banned breed but thats where the bullgreyhound has lost its trate in the field english bulls are not the bullterrier they once were they are bred now for show purposes and not for working same with the staff, dont get me wrong some staff still have the working trate but few and far between have what it takes. the pitbull terrier and bullgreryhound creates the unlitmate cross.
-
so you have a english bull x greyhound sorry i'm abit of a novice when it comes to the greyhounds or lurchers i always thort they bred pitbull terriers with greyhound to create the bullgreyhound
-
may i ask why you would have beddlington in a dog when you have bull?.
