Ducks on the estate I live on are currently calling a huge puddle in the middle of a field home. They`re usually 1/2-3/4 of a mile away in an area where they`re fed by the keepers

Try peanut butter. It draws them to the traps pretty quickly

Are there any sea bait suppliers in the Angus area? Before the smart-arses say "the local tackle shop", that doesn`t help!

I have a 5y/o english springer that I rescued about 18months ago. He had spent most of his life locked in the back of a landy, and obviously every time the door was opened he made a break for freedom. Now, I`ve managed to get him to a reasonable standard of obedience but nowhere near where I`d like him to be. He does answer to the whistle, sometimes, but if he flushes a bird he`ll give chase until it either lands, or he flushes another... sometimes not returning for 10 or so minutes. Obviously this makes me nervous to let him off the lead, especially during the season, as I live on a shooti

Evening all, I`m Jamie, 34, from Angus, was directed to this forum by a buddy. Just about to start a new job on a large estate and looking forward to hopefully doing some rabbit control with the new ferrets I picked up today. Kept ferrets since I was about 10, but not had any for about 4 years. I like fishing for anything that swims, shooting with air rifle (not got a licence yet!), occasionally beating with the local shoot, pretty much anything outdoors.
