  1. Went out last night with Hunter1 - we took the whippet pup out and it caught a rabbit on its first run - going to be an awesome dog. Big red (the other dog) is 100% and strong as an ox.
  2. I'm after the cap that holds the batteries on a ferret collar - make DEBEN 15 foot - also the cap for a terrier collar.

  8. have to resize the picture the picture to upload onto the site - you can't upload a normal sized picture onto the site as they're too big - we reduce to 320/220 pixels or something like that (its the number of pixels it takes up thats the key). We use "creative photo manager" that was on the pc when we bought it - open the picture - go to edit and then click on resize. it will show the size (or number of pixels) it is and the options to make it bigger or smaller. hope this helps!
  9. Pictures of Tessa (lurcher), Ned (mikey brown whippet) and Molly (border terrier) whats the most caught in 1 hour? Tessa's record is 11 - it was raining and very dark and there are a lot of rabbits up here - but still i thinks shes a cracking dog
  10. I have taken on a mikey brown whippet - I got him 2 months ago when he was 6/7 months old. I didn't get him directly from mikey brown but from someone I know. After a lot of good food and time he's turning into a fantastic dog. Very good day and night - very game with loads of guts. A little bit head strong but he'll get there. His biggest problem was barking and the wall of death in the car - but the electric collar has sorted this out (bit hard but works quickly). Will post some pictures this weekend - good looking dog
  11. My mate is looking to breed some later this year. He does a lot of bushing and thinks its the best thing for it. I'll find out and let you know the timing if you're interested

  18. Does anyone know any good holiday lodges / cottages around the UK that take dogs and where you can have a mooch
  19. is a kestrel good for a first bird im in 2 minds a small bird or big bird? thanks no, having had birds for 30 years and flown long and short wings I think the ideal bird would be a male Harris Hawk because they are very loyal in their first year, have no tendancies to go for dogs and you can go up and down a couple of ounces in weight - even though my first bird was a kestrel. I'm keeping a close eye on my son with his.
  20. have you any pictures? have you any problems? this one whines in the truck and in garden. I know it seems hard but i put a bark collar on him and it seems to have worked. thats why the guy was getting rid of him. hopefully the problem is solved.
  21. I use a motor bike battery charger from halfords which has a light to show when fully charged and which then does a trickle charge. Like mobil phones etc they recommend to let them go fully flat. It works for me.
