    i can get hold of alot of turkey chicks which i feed to my hawks - any thoughts on whether i could feed these to my dogs as well (if they can get them my dogs love them). i wasnt sure about salmonella etc - but i could pop the yolk on them.

    i dont know how they did it - ive been running them in long grass, ploughed fields and then stubble fields. just noticed they were licking

    went out last night - conditions not too good - moon was bright and had been pouring with rain. was out with my mate and his dog tom. About midnight tessa cut her leg and then ned cut his stopper so couldnt run them any more. Tom had 2 rabbits after this and we called it a night to watch the boxing (great fight!) took the dogs to the vets this morning- £60 worse off but not bad cos both dogs had to have stitches and antibiotics (sargeants vets in Caeryws - excellent vets for working dogs - no bullshit you hold them down and they sew!). only problem now is will have to rest them for a

    just been out with hunter1 and his dog fly and another mate with his dog tom. conditions not too good - my dogs had 3 runs each and caught 3 rabbits each. had some very long slips - the dogs were able to turn them from the edge and catch them. fly had 2 rabbits and so did tom. all in all a good couple of hours.

    went out for an hour with my mate and his dog, tom (greyhound,deerhound,wheeton) - got 6 rabbits - not bad as it was still and bright. heres some pictures

    my year & 1/2 year old whippet's coat is very thin and patchy. he's fed on beef, rabbit, chicken and dry dog food but mainly meat. any lotions / potions or recommendations? he's also kept outside with my lurcher who's coat is fine.
