  1. Hi, I have two, two year old Jills (not related)who have both been covered by a friends Hob, neither produced a litter after 5 or 6 attempts to cover. I did the usual, took the Jills to the Hob etc etc. Anyway, after 6 weeks nothing so I had them checked and then Jill jabed. OK, I have just been given a 12 week old Jill and Hob, can these be introduced to my jills safely. I have a large court, so room is not an issue. I hear various stories that you can and can't introduce "new" blood into an existing set up, especially very young hobs. Advice needed please. Cheers Smu
  2. Thanks mate, I am waiting to collect the Jill when the weather turns, anything like my misses and her sisters in this heat and god help us all. !!touchy cows !!
  3. Gents, Thanks for your comments and advice. A friend who is just about to go back into the Army has 3 Jills and a bloody big Hob. He has found homes for all but one Jill, I said I will take this in. She is not a great worker but has given a few years good service and I don't want to see her go to just anyone. Yep made the Court out of what was left with the house re-build 8ft x 6ft x 3ft all the front opens for easy access. Cheers Steve
  4. Hi all, Been away for a few years due to work but back again. Built myself a new court and have two 14 month of Jill's. My question is can I introduce another Jill ? I know its a no no to bring in a Hob but will my two Jill's gang up on another if introduced. Thanks for any advice. Smudger
  5. Thank you all for taking the time to reply, sadly the kit died over night.
  6. Lads, Thanks for the post, I think I will give her some time, if it continues the cold weather will get her in the end I suppose. She don't seem to be suffering so I will let her be. Cheers again. Smudger
  7. Gents I have a 8 week old Jill who is constantly wet at the rear end, she has a problem with a back leg which seems abit under developed. She is half the size of her sisters. She is active but clumsey. She is eating well but her sh*t is runny and bubble, never solid. Never hada Jill like this, any pointers Lads ? Cheers Smudger
  8. Good thanks pal! Nice to see you back on here posting! Always used to look forward tor your input on a rugby thread. Glad to hear it Malt, WE were Sh*t, and thats the truth, but a wins a win, an ugly one at that. Tins to be dropped, Johnnie to be dropped, Lawes (thug) to be dropped. The frogs, like the Jocks will raise their game and the Frogs have far more skill and savvy to be honest that the boys up there. Been watching you boys and it good to see good hard honest running rugby, a few too meny scares but the booze ban will help !!! Only been back a few weeks
  9. Hahahahahahahahahah Come on ENGLAND, beat the Frogs and lets show the skirt wearing haggis bashers what real rugby is all about. !!! Malt, how are you mate, good luck to you boys, looking good.
  10. Due to circumstances beyond my control I have had to give my beloved Borders away to a friend. Don't think I have cried so much since the birth of my children. Anyway just wanted to thank all those who have been kind enough to comment on my posts and fight the battle for the Border Terrier. Good luck to you all and happy hunting Steve
  11. I work mine to everything I have a chance to. They do the business for me. They can be slow in coming forward but I put that down to a higher intelligence level then most terriers.
  12. Mate I work mine, hardy little dogs, you have a problem on this site as there are a number of tossers who love to knock the Border at every opportunity, fine with that, but all you will get are stupid comments from stupid people. PM me if you want
  13. None mate to talk of, from working Borders brought from a farmer down Devon way.
  14. Thanks lads, nothing fancy just honest Borders.
  15. Thanks mate, he's a bit of a loner and slow in coming forward but a good dog. sorry for the delay been abroad. Smudger

  16. Took my 10 month Border bitch (Biscuit) for some ratting today. Mother experienced so brought her along. Biscuit took two on her own both fair sized feckers. Happy with her, and yes she is abit slow in coming forward but showing promise. Her mother is mustard at ratting and a few other things.
  17. Thank feck there are still true Englishmen who give 100% regardless. I am talking about the England rugby team who have just beat the Aussie tossers.!!! PRIDE - PROUD - ENGLISH
  18. Being one of those die-hard England followers, went to watch the lads in Paris. GREAT GAME and well done the Frogs,(Basturds) Hate to say it well done the Jocks and as for the Taffies the usual if only you played like that all the time. !!! A better England performance against a good well orgainised French team, worthy winners. As for the World Cup and fottie who gives a blow, only shit stabbers play football.
  19. No Jock, My views and opinions are made on serving 15 years in HM Armed Forces and having served along side almost all our NATO's allies, even the French. But I have never chanced upon a more theiving bunch of sorry misfits as the Jock regiments, hard done by, bitter and full of how they have been mis treated by the English for so many fecking years. They have the finest fighting honours in Britians military history but feck me the standards must have dropped when I was serving. Their hate of all things English was a source of much merryment, I can tell you. I read all the anti English posts
  20. No mate, Served with, lived in and got long memory. Wife Irish, it's just down to respect or lack of it. Scotland are playing very well, just being let down by their supporters, !! Oh, I see, you were bullied or perhaps intimidated by one or two Scottish soldiers. I knew it had to be something. I've seen posts like this from you before Smudger, don't just sit behind your keyboard, if you feel that strongly about it, get yourself up to Glasgow (next Saturday night would probably be the best time) and tell the locals just how you feel about them. It will be the most exiting night of y

  22. Well done Ireland, good game.!! Jock crowds, igorant and do themselves no justice, shame because their team are playing well.
  23. Fair play to you Smudger, an honest appraisal and credit given where credit is due. Have one on me Cheers mate, I was one of the English prats who paid £170 for a ticket, it was a good idea when I was pissed. One thing not been mention here was the great atmospher ( can't spell sorry !!) before, during and after the game. I have been to a number of England games and to be honest the knees-up with the men in green is ALWAYS bang-on. Friendly banter, a few piss takes but a lot of jokes and laughts, tis a pity this is not the norm with the skirt wearers. We will be lucky to ta
  24. Well done Ireland, God help us it's up to us English to feck-up the Frogs. And NO ONE gets under their skin the the English. !!! Best team won yesterday.
