    Good assessment of them jig. Everything you have explained there is what I am experiencing with mine apart from the turning ability mine seems to turn well and sticks to its quarry. I dont think I would have another they just seem to lack that do or die attitude.

    Seen one work and he was a very capable dog. The 2 years of age thing I agree with sort of. Mine has been slow to get going where her litter sister was taking the lot in her 1st season. I like them alot but dont think they can do anything a good saluki grey or other long dog crosses cant

    I run a 1st cross. This will be her 2nd full season working so hopefully she will develop more. They are very slow to mature compared to other breeds. She stands at 28tts. She is 28 months old She has caught rhfd. She is very fast and turns well . She picks her strikes now and then on the big stuff which can be frustrating. Her stamina is not what I thought, thought it would of been better tbf.

    A friend of mine had an hancock bitch, she was the best trained lurcher I have ever seen, would lamp without a slip, work to the gun etc. She was a prolific rabbiting bitch and caught many hare. He told me she did fox but all i seen was a dog playing chase with em not attempting to pull any we ran. She is long gone now, but for me she was the perfectly trained lurcher I have ever seen and yet to see

    These rough boys make me laugh.. if they like fighting so much why dont they go into boxing or mma where they are put against men just as fit as them at the same weight and just as game??? Because they would get there arses served to them

    Not been down in about 4 years was going every year 2 or 3 times a year before that. Last time I went alot of it was pre bottled compared to when I first started going. Still a cracking cider. Have a trip to hecks cider farm, proper barrels still at that one. Its like walking into the dingles but great cider. Dont think it is too far from street down that way if I remember right

    Any pics of these old type bull x's. I know the type I used to go out with as a young kid definitely looked different to the ones you see today. As bird says the where alot lighter built. But I cant remember if they where just bull greys or something else in the mix.
