Ive always gone and knocked in person to wherever i could see rabbits. 2 knocks and 2 permissions granted. But over the years i hate to think how many knock backs i got. But once you get permissions especially on farms or private gardens word of mouth is a good thing especially if you treat your permissions with respect., i tend to ring the day before if im going out , one reason is the cattle will be in certain fields and can see wheres good for me to get the stinkers working and make sure the fences will be offf ....so as not to interfere with me locators or me getting a jolt. I just use a game bag for mine ....got a couple extra pockets in it forspare batteries,locator, collars, chocolate bars, cameraand its got an inner sleeve that can be taken out and washed and can keep a couple stop nets seperate from my normal purse nets.

The standard cb is dead over here but ssb is quite big,, but its all changed, its all call signs now not really any handles like the good old days. Its more turned into Ham radio but the 555's is very active on usb when the prop is there.

Get it all the time.......doesnt bother me what they say, its food on my table and im helping the farmers keep there crops and grazing grounds by hunting them. And theres no water added to my rabbit meat to make it heavier and plumper ......................and i can live self sufficient if needs be....all these haters would starve to death. Get something with the ssb's i used to pick up all of europe on a president lincoln ....ony when the prop was good. But if your just looking for nearby stuff then yeah a midland would be good just make sure you swr your arial....or you wont pick up shit lol

4z snags on a blade of grass..............depends on the size of the mesh board used as to the size of the mesh. Im making my own with a larger mesh board 2 1/4 so i got a bigger mesh.
